## Features

- ALL-METAL HITCH-MOUNTED BIKE RACK - The Kuat NV Base 2.0 is a highly durable, all-metal hitch-mounted bike rack designed to transport up to two bikes securely, including heavier electric bikes, with each tray supporting up to 60 lbs. This makes it a versatile option for cyclists with a range of bike types, from lightweight road bikes to bulkier e-bikes; the all-metal design ensures long-lasting durability and the strength needed to handle heavy loads; a powder-coated finish resists rust and wear
- ADJUSTABLE FRONT TIRE CRADLE SYSTEM - Like the NV 2.0, the Base 2.0 2-bike rack has adjustable front tire cradles that help minimize seat post and handlebar interference, and a handy Pivot lever that tilts an extra 45 degrees for additional clearance inside your vehicle's back hatch or trunk; the thoughtfully designed hand-tight hitch cam system keeps the rack from rocking on all your biking adventures
- INTEGRATED CABLE LOCKS - When it comes to security, the Base 2.0 2-bike hitch rack comes with fully integrated cable locks and a matching hitch lock to keep your prized mountain bike, road bike, gravel bike, or e-bike locked up tight while looking tight; the robust hitch rack offers a hassle-free installation process, with a hand-tightened cam system that secures it to the hitch without the need for tools
- PIVOT SYSTEM - The rack has a foot-operated pivot lever that allows it to tilt down for easy access to the rear of your vehicle, even when fully loaded with bikes. It can also be folded up against the vehicle when not in use to save space; for those needing to transport more bikes, an optional add-on is available that expands the rack's capacity to four bikes, while maintaining the same level of stability and security
- 2-INCH HITCH RECEIVERS COMPATIBLE - The Kuat NV Base 2.0 - 2" Hitch-Mounted 2-Bike Rack (BA22) is ideal for larger vehicles like SUVs, trucks, and some vans, and fits 2-inch hitch receivers; this size is more common on vehicles designed for heavier towing and load-bearing, making it perfect for securely transporting heavier bikes, including e-bikes

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the rack have a hole in the male receiver to lock it to the car?**
A: It has a hole in the portion that goes into the hitch receiver on the vehicle. Use a pin with a lock.

**Q: So you can fold up the rack when you don't have bikes on it to reduce your parking footprint?**
A: Yes it folds up nicely to reduce the parking footprint and it is very easy.

**Q: Does it work for kids bikes?**
A: Hi,

Thanks for reaching out! The Kuat NV Base 2.0 will be able to fit wheel sizes between 20"-29", but will require the use of our wheel adapter for wheels between 20"-24". This adapter is not included in the box but we are happy to provide if you send an email to: info@kuatracks.com, or give us a call: 877-822-5828. Unfortunately if the tire is smaller than 20" I could not recommend using this rack.

Please let us know if you have any other questions!

**Q: does it come with hitch adapter for 2 inch hitch?**
A: You can buy it for either a 1.25" or 2" hitch receiver. No adapter necessary.
