1x1 Square Building Block Earrings

Description

A sterling silver version of everyone's favorite building toy. The best part is, it still works! The bricks were each hand cast using the lost wax method. We burn out an actual toy brick for every piece, destroying the original. 1 plastic brick = 1 silver brick. The earrings measure approximately across. A sterling post was soldered securely to the back. I gave the earrings a black patina and then brushed it back to better highlight the detail. A sterling silver butterfly nut is included. The silver bricks work with the original plastic bricks, so you can mod out your jewelry to suit your mood.
