Un ottimo softbox con l'unica differenza rispetto al lightdome II che montarlo richiede più tempo: le costole vanno montate una ad una e infilate nei fori intorno all'attacco Bowens... quando invece nel lightdome sono agganciate e hanno un tasto di sgancio rapido... Lo consiglio a chi usa questa luce in studio e non deve montarla e smontala continuamente. Arriva con due diffusori di diversa intensità, secondo diffusore, borsa e griglia honeycomb. Un ottimo prodotto finalmente ad un prezzo accessibilissimo.

I've been using the Light Dome SE for about 6 months now and can report back that I am pretty impressed with it. Having come from a stills background, largely used to using Profoto modifiers, I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of light coming from the Light Dome SE. Light comes out soft, without the kind of specularity you often get with cheaper mods. It's really controllable too, the inclusion of a grid is a very nice touch. Assembly is as expected with a tent-style dome, it requires a bit of energy, but once you have done it a few times, it's fairly straightforward. All materials seem fairly robust (really solid speedring) apart from the bag itself whose pockets seem a little flimsy. But that said, I've not had any rips or issues with it so far. I did experience one supporting rod snap during normal assembly, but the customer service from the seller here on Amazon was brilliant - they sorted me out with replacement rods quickly and efficiently. I'd recommend fitting the dome to the light on a stand and using gravity to help stick the front diffusion panels on evenly. All in all, this is great value for money, I'd highly recommend.

The first few times I used the soft box, it was perfectly sealed then slowly light started to escape through the stitches. I took a photo to show you what I mean. As time goes on, more and more stitches are leaking light. To avoid any future failure, I decided to send it back. I want to say that I LOVE Aputure, the company, and have three of their lights in my studio. I've never had an issue with their products and assume this is just a one off.
