Review: This switch does NOT FIT in a Dewalt DW717 miter saw ! - DO NOT BUY FOR A DW 717 Type 2 - this is NOT a workable replacement part: 1. it does not fit. when installed correctly, the trigger pull starts the saw, but when released, does not turn off the saw. the finger trigger itself is too fat too allow the spring to turn off the saw. you can turn it off only by assisting the trigger back into off position. 2. Wiring is "backwards". this replacement's electrical connections are opposite the OEM part, so I had to switch R side wires to L, and vice versa.
