These are nearly perfect for cutting tall grass and weeds in snake country. I've used them for about four weeks now, and they have saved me from copperheads and rattlers. They protect your ankle and calf, up to about knee. Don't wear them with sneakers! Wear leather boots. Highly recommend!!!

Not going to attest to how they work in the case of an actual snake encounter, but I will say that these gaiters are comfortable, easy to adjust, and stay in place while hiking (and biking). My use case is hunting, and this early season I have encountered timber rattlesnakes near one of my stands. I get to my spot by riding my e-bike for about a mile, followed by a half mile walk in. These gaiters stayed in place and didn't interfere with my stride or cause any undue noise. I felt well protected as I approached the areas I had seen the snakes in. The coverage is from the top of your foot to your knee. Given the sturdy steel toe boots I use, I felt well protected from knees to toes.

I bought this for hiking during the summer. It seems fairly comfortable and lightweight. The latches seems to fit very well. It does seem to hold its shape while you put it on your leg. One of the things that I would say is that adjustability may not be as good because my leg is fairly short so it does cause some, bending in terms of the padding. with that said it still feels like you get protection for snakebites. The material seems to be fairly sturdy of good quality. Is fairly thick and seems to provide excellent protection. The material seems to be made of padding as well as the material you find in white belt.

I've been using these to cut some trail in heavy brush. Makes me feel better about snakes. I wish the buckles would stay tight though they loosen up after a bit

These snake gaiters work great and do exactly what they are supposed to do. They feel durable, fit snug around the lower legs, and are easy to adjust with the straps so they stay in place while walking or hiking. I also like that they are lightweight and pack down easily for carrying in a bag. I am really glad I took the chance on these and I would recommend them for anyone spending time in snake country.

It’s an okay product! Just has some disused with staying up no matter how I go about doing it. Material is fine and it’ll do the job, just doesn’t stay up super well.
