After just 2 weeks of use, it stopped working and the red light kept blinking. I was so frustrated at first and kept meddling with it until I found a solution. When I went back to the sink to wash my hands, I saw a strange clear blue rubber ring in the sink, and immediately figure out that it might have been part of the water cap. I was right. The blue ring is what keeps a good seal when you turn the cap but it also gives the right height for the umbrella-thing of ma jigger to come up inside for it to work. Since this ring is not held in place by glue so it fell out. Overall, this is a good product so far, only time can tell, but for the money, it is easy to use. It works very well and doesn't get the surface wet that it sits on. The only issue is that it's a little awkward to fill. It's too bad you can't just take the lid off and fill it. But overall, it works really well and really helps my daughter to be able to breathe and not get too dried out at night. She turns the light off at night. It still has a little light on the button, but it's not too bright.
