An addition to my sewing kit

This is a nice quality piece of elastic, it's actually a little heavier than I thought it would be for the price and will work well for the repairs I have .

I used this 3/4" elastic for a pair of flannel pajama pants. By the time I had threaded it thru the casing, it and the flannel were pretty stretched out. It probably would have been better to use a light weight cotton and with flannel I perhaps should have made casing a tiny bit bigger.

Really pleased with the product. It suits my requirements perfectly. Very durable. I have used these for tightening my toddler’s pants who is quite thin but tall. So, it gets pulled down and up and stretched quite a lot many times in just one day. And also gt wahed quite frequently. Only I never put my toddler’s clothes in dryerand line dry them and wash them in cold water. With all this, the elastic has held up and retained the shape very very well. I am now ordering more because my toddler has grown and I have to now redo the elastic in his pants. Very durable and good product.
