Very nice picture quality. I should have bought the higher res 8MP though but I didn't see them. Interesting new feature with the white light and works well for a constantly on security light, if that's your goal. Perfect for certain spots we have here. I getting a couple 8mp now with the dual light, IR for constant watch and no spot light then switches to to the white light in an event situation. I like that option for, again, certain other spots we have here.

Camera worked perfectly on my LTS dvr. The picture quality is awesome. The night vision works perfectly clear at night. It took me less than 5 minutes to take off the old one and replace it with the new one so I can say the setup is pretty easy. Also there is no false positivity on motion detection. I would totally recommend this for replacing BNC cameras.

I have used Amcrest for a very long time. Their Cameras don't disappoint.

I bought this to replace my old lower resolution cameras. I set it up and found the video quality to be slightly better. The wide camera angle is nice. The camera itself is well built and attractive. It does work with older DVRs, be sure to set the switches accordingly to give the correct camera signal. The package had no instructions, I only knew about the switches from other reviewers. I came home after dark to find this thing casting a beam of light into my face. I expected an IR light source, not a daylight colored spotlight. I do have to say that the nighttime video quality is unexpectedly good, so if that’s what your want, great. Otherwise expect to see a beam of light out your window all night. Probably a deterrent to unwanted guests, but a nuisance to me.

not compatible with Lorex Ultra HD DVR. You would need to use the device's own app to turn the color night vision off as you cannot change the camera settings on the Lorex app or DVR. There are no instructions on how to connect the camera to the app it requires, so Inwas never able to connect to the right app so that I could control the cameras functions. I cannot opt for regular night vision, and the color light vision requires the cameras spotlight to shine all night. This is going to kill the camera quickly because the battery was already low as soon as I plugged the camera in. I purchased two of these cameras at the same time less than 3 months ago. One has already died completely. The other one is behaving the same way as the other did before it died. If you flip on an outside light while this camera is in color night mode, the camera malfunctions and turns off and on repeatedly unless you unplug it. Zero stars on ease of set up, connectivity, quality, durability, and functionality. Would not recommend.

First, these are connected to a ZOSI 16 channel DVR. On the NO: I don't get 5-mega pixels on my DVR with these. I do with other cameras. I don't get the claimed 131ft of color vision at night either. I get at best 50 or less feet of color vision. The closer to the camera, the better the night picture is, unless there is another light source at where this camera starts to loose its provided light lighting. The close areas are really good colored views. And the daytime views are very good too. I first bought 3 of these, and even knowing their limitations I bought another. These are superior over the black and white night visioned cameras. And yes, they have an annoying constant visible white light shining at night. If you want clear visible color night vision up to 50 ft, without additional lighting, then these might be worth a try! Daylight vision is way past hundreds of feet. UPDATE: The 5 Mega-Pixels error was my error. I didn't have it set to TVI. Setting to TVI resolved that issue. I purchased another one of these for the back of the house. It lit it up like daylight per se. I tried another brand of night color vision and the Amcrest camera is head & shoulders above the competition. Even though I don't seem to get the promised 131 feet of night vision without additional lighting, I do believe changing my rating to a full 5 stars is justified.

This is a nice and simple 5MP camera! Easy setup out of the box, very straight forward. It made with a weather-proof (IP67), aluminum casing. It will withstand the elements very well. The image is nice and clear during the day and the night color vision works great! I am very pleased with this camera, and for the price, you can't beat it! The set up was as easy as 1,2,3. There are instructions in the box, a mounting template with hardware and plenty of guidance on the Amcrest site. I also like this camera has H.265, which saves on storage space. My initial impression is that the camera is extremely well built, and it seems quite durable. I can access the camera through the web and through the Amcrest app on my iphone. I would recommend these cameras, especially for the quality and price.
