Bright orange and plenty strong to hold a float ring securely so that you can throw the ring and pull it back if you miss the swimmer.

I use this rope to attach me to my diver down buoy. It does stay up and behind me in the water. I don't get tangled in my rope anymore.

This rope works well for its intended purpose, but if left out in sunlight all summer decays noticeably in one year. Plan to replace it yearly. That is true for most light weight ropes left in the sun. It is easy to store, floats, and is good to have clipped to a throwing ring at a beach.

This is not a life-saving line. It coils badly, knots up on the heave and would probably be a liability in a life-or-death situation. I've been a boater for over 50 years, so I think I know how to heave a line. Even if it does float, I wouldn't throw it to a PIW.

I purchased this for my life ring. Didn’t like the carabiner that came with it. I went out and bought a nice ss 3” and attached this to my life ring. I’ll keep it in my deck hatch were I will have easy access and the UV’s won’t eat the line.
