Cat Fountain

We bought this in 2022 was over 36quid at the time, it was a great buy as we go away often and this helps not having someone coming in everyday. Compared to others I used, this stainless steel prevents the gather of that grime/algae making it much easier to clean! Perfect size, easy to set-up, low noise and no leaks. My husband works in water treatment and tested the water after 8days without being changed and no bacteria! This gave us so much peace of mind if we had to leave it that long but our friends always come up and change at day 4 or 5 but it's good to know! It has been very reliable, we keep a camera that captures the fountain so that we detect if stops working when we are away and only once we had a problem. This was about 1.5 years later and we got a motor replacement. Recently we had to bin it because the plastic thing that secures the filter broke when cleaning. Initially our cats were not impressed with this fountain that quickly got used to it and absolutely love it! It even increased their water intake as definitely more pees in the litter! they really loved the one with the flower we had before, but was too hard to clean and because was plastic kept gathering green and pink grime was a bit nasty. Thats why I bought this one, it was stainless steel and did not disappoint! It's easy enough to clean, no grime, and the filters last well and reasonable prices compared to others I felt bad trowing out the fountain just because of that piece of plastic that I couldn't fix, so I bought a different fountain that did had that type of mechanism and it was a big mistake.... the cats wouldn't go near it as much! They prefer to lick taps, our glasses and the condensation on the windows unbelievable... Never thought this would happen, I know my cats don't like changes but they didn't like this one at the start either and eventually got used to! Also I was disappointed because the filters were full of pink grime algae after 5 days and that never happen with this one! That's my rant over! All of this to say that I am very happy with this product and I am buying it again!!! the cats win! They like what they like! That is why I came to update my review from 2022 whereby I gave a 4 star and now well deserved 5 stars!!!

I had this for 3 years, it works nonstop and my cats love this, the customer service is good, the pump stopped working and i emailed them to replace it and they actually sent another pump from china. The only issue is that during hot days the plastic pump starts growing algea. But compare to the previous plastic fountains I had this one is great. I’d recommend it

Don't buy it! I loved this when it arrived. Was quiet and easy to clean. I cleaned and changed the filter every one to two weeks, as instructed, but some of the plastic parts developed a sort of mould and green algae appeared inside the motor part that was impossible to clean. After about five months it started to play up after the filter change. It wouldn't start and I've have to fiddle with it to get it going. But now, after eight months, the motor has completely packed in.

Not sure I need 3.2L, I guess that's helpful if you have a lot of cats or you have a small dog. I put about 1.5-2 litres in, that seems enough. Early indicators show it to be a good upgrade on my previous CatMate water bowl. You could hear the HMMMMMMM of that thing all through my kitchen, all the time. This bowl seems to be pretty solid. You can't hear the pump at all and as many reviews state you only hear the water trickling which is quieter with the spout attached. The only time I heard a weird vibrating noise was the top plate being loose. I pushed it down and it was silent again. Before buying it I did look at a few videos to try and find out if it really was quiet - one of the videos where a person was talking about how quiet it is... had them talking the *entire time* over it. Tip: If you're going to harp on about a thing's operating silence, make sure you stop talking so people can hear your point for themselves. :) It's powered by a 5W USB-A power supply and a USB cable (which seems to be integrated and non-removable - which makes sense, considering that it needs to be waterproof). I've not taken any readings but it's a basic 1A @ 5V 5-watt power supply. I could probably attach a meter to get an exact reading but at 5w I'm not *super* bothered. I see from other reviews that some folks had issue with the pump failing, and that when it is off the water drains away - but all the reviews also seem to imply that the seller will send out replacement pumps, so at the price I'm pretty much happy with it and feel safe in the knowledge that the seller will sort it out. I may update this review with some more notes after a few months (and photos when I catch the cats using it) - adding how it does during the summer, how easy it is to clean, if it gets mould which never comes off like the cat mate did etc. For now, good purchase, I'm happy with it.

Super easy to clean , completely stainless steel therefore more Hygienic I own several cat fountains ( multi cat household ) most are plastic and have areas that have tube like outlets that trap dirt / grime they are difficult to clean can only be accessed/ cleaned with cotton buds & pipe cleaners. the cats also scratch the plastic tops and have created areas for grime/germs to gather . I usually change the water every 2 days but end up spending 30 minutes cleaning the various outlets as the design is poor . This fountain costs twice the price but its simplistic design and the completely stainless steel body will definitely cut down on cleaning times , the tap just slots in and should be an easy to clean item (but may require a pipe cleaner/cotton bud for a deep clean ) much like pet food bowls stainless steel is way more Hygienic. Plastic is easily scratched and grime/germs will get trapped Its to early to say if the pump is reliable but the sound is silent ( I have bought 2 of these fountains so far ) and I am operating them at the same time with my old plastic fountains and so far 15 out of 15 cats prefer it . They came with an extra 3 filters each so that was an unexpected bonus but to be honest I thought the filters are expensive given that they are very small .

Good if slightly pricey. Has no window so won’t leak. Very quite. Good job

Hi this product is great when working I have no issues but I bought it November 2024 and last week the pump has stopped working. I am not sure how to contact the seller to obtain a replacement.

I have had this for quite a few months now, it is good quality stainless steel has been through the dishwasher on multiple occasions and still works like a dream. It doesn’t leak and water doesn’t splash anywhere. It is also extremely quiet unless it is getting empty in which case it starts to gurgle which is a message for me to wash and refill. Both my kittens much prefer this to a static water bowl. I have since gone on to buy further filters for it as I am so pleased with it.

Je serais heureux de vous donner mon avis sur la fontaine à eau pour chats en acier inoxydable. Tout d'abord, je dois dire que cette fontaine est très bien conçue et fabriquée avec des matériaux de haute qualité. L'acier inoxydable est non seulement durable et résistant, mais il donne également à la fontaine un look élégant et moderne qui s'intègre facilement dans n'importe quel intérieur. Ensuite, je trouve que la fontaine est très pratique pour les chats. Elle offre un flux d'eau constant et frais qui encourage les chats à boire plus d'eau, ce qui est important pour leur santé et leur bien-être. De plus, la fontaine est très silencieuse, ce qui est un avantage considérable par rapport à d'autres fontaines pour chats qui peuvent être bruyantes et dérangeantes. En ce qui concerne mes propres chats, je peux confirmer qu'ils adorent cette fontaine. Sembrava il prodotto perfetto ma ha smesso improvvisamente di funzionare dopo 10 mesi (acquistato ad agosto 2025). Speravo di poter fare il reso po ho letto l’utile recensione di un utente che ordinando la pompa di ricambio (circa 15€) ha trovato il video di come smontarla e pulirla a fondo. Facile, veloce, ho provato e funziona di nuovo! Ottimo!

War zuerst skeptisch. Die Verpackung hat keinen hochwertigen Eindruck gemacht aber ich bin total begeistert. Täglich 1-2x den Wassernapf zu reinigen hat mich gestört. Ich hatte bereits einen sehr teuren Keramikttinkbrunnen der allerdings alle 2 Tage aufwändig gereinigt werden musste. Viel gewonnen hatte ich damit nicht. Ich wollte einen Trinkbrunnen der die Katzen zum trinken animiert, immer frisches Wasser hat und den Arbeitsaufwand möglichst gering halten, darum habe ich mich für dieses Gerät mit Filtern und großem Füllvermögen entschieden. Der Aufbau war absolut unkompliziert. Die Filter sind leicht zu reinigen und das Edelstahl ist spülmaschinenfest. Man hört dieses Gerät tatsächlich so gut wie garnicht. Hatte anfangs bedenken, dass es evtl. zu laut plätschert aber das ist definitiv nicht der Fall. An dem Auslauf ist eine kleine blaue LED verbaut die Abends dezent leuchtet, sieht super aus. Ich bin total happy und die Katzen haben ihn auch direkt angenommen. Habe das Gefühl sie trinken daraus tatsächlich öfter. Meine Katzen waren nie Fans von laufenden Wasserhähnen, die interessieren sie eher nicht aber gerade für Katzen die auch gerne mit dem Wasserhahn spielen oder trinken ist der Brunnen ein „must have“. Über den Preis brauchen wir nicht sprechen, das ist er definitiv Wert. Lieferung war auch Top. Keine 24 Std. später schon da. Mental eine kleine Umstellung nonstop fliesendes Wasser zu sehen, da man hin und wieder im vorbeigehen kurz das Bedürfnis hat es abzustellen 😃
