Good so far
Works good so far. We'll see how long the plastic handles last. These things break at the hinge alot so I got the two year extended warranty

Worked great and helped with the recharge
I priced out someone coming to recharge our system versus me buying the tools and doing it myself. I already have a meter that I can use this with... and once I had all tools in hand it took 15-min to get the system charged up and back in order. I did buy two different clamps... the other had a weak handle and I did send it back...this one is much better made.

Seems like a nice k probe clamp.
Bought 2. Works as advertised. Needed to calibrate to my fieldpiece meter as it was off by a few degrees from other probe set. Only took one star off for width as where it's placed can affect probe if it's not fully flat against your line set be it liquid or vapor. Not had it long enough to determine durability but seems fairly robust if going by looks alone. They are a little bigger than expected so will take up more bag space.

Mine has been solid
Since others noted it is fragile - I have been very delicate with it and it has held up well. I have taken pains not to spill any liquids on it that might make the plastic brittle. I was able to easily get superheat with this clamp at a bargain price. Next year when I drag it out - if it breaks with time I will update the review. Until then I consider this a good rarely used purchase for doing HVAC work.

Good clamp, accurate within a degree
Two thermal clamps were purchased. They are being used in HVAC applications. I tested both of them on the same pipe and they were less than a degree apart (.6 degrees F). I also tested them against a bead thermocouple with the same result. I also tested them in ice water along with the bead thermocouple and all temperatures were within a degree, same as before. As far as durability, I have only had them for a month. Clamps are well constructed.

Inaccurate. Way off.
Pretty inaccurate. Tried using with a Fluke 116, Fieldpiece SC440, and a Klein meter. All three meters read way off with this sensor. As in about 11-20 degrees off. When using any other sensor (Fluke, Fieldpiece or Klein temp thermocouple) swapping sensors between all the different meters, all read accurate no matter what meter they were paired with. Using a big glass of ice water, and letting the sensors sit for a long time the Fieldpiece and Fluke both read at 32.0, and the Klein was about 33. This clamp sensor was at the closest, 41 degrees. Anywhere from 41-50 depending on the meter paired with. Yes it sat for a long time, about 30 minutes totally submerged in ice water. Is was totally cold soaked. This is obviously unacceptable accuracy for pretty much anything, let alone measuring line temps. Maybe I got a bad one, who knows but I'll have to return it. The pics attached show cold soaked in ice water, and then attached to the exact same spot on a cleaned and polished refrigerant line, blocked from the sun or any external variables, and sitting for quite a few minutes to stabilize.

good purchase !
works great !!!

THIS WORKS ITS NOT CCC
This unit works quite well with my meter and has a fast response. it works with the min/max function on my meter. It grabs copper pipe quite well from the suction side to the high pressure and liquid lines in my HVAC training at RSI. lastly its not cheap china crap, good out of the box.

Great product
Works awesome, fairly accurate, paired with fieldpiece dual thermometer for checking subcool/superheat on residential air conditioning systems and light commercial. Highly recommend, no more fumbling around with prob thermometers.

Use for work. Works well. Accurate temp reading.

Good product
This product works great for what I need the only complaint I have is longevity, they tend to break at the hinge, the plastic gets weak and cracks over time

Good quality
Exactly what I was looking for
