Review: Received these wading boots a week ago and first impressions are very good. They appear solidly constructed; far better than my old Bass Pro boots which lasted years. I am expecting good things and longevity from these as well. Tried them on with my waders and they are not only comfortable but fit true to size. Nice cleated sole which accepted studs very easily. I have used # 10 X 3/8" plated steel Hex-head screws forever to stud wading boots and found them to be a cheap and effective solution to ANY slippery surface. Looking forward to updating this review once I have had an opportunity to try the boots on-stream. After having used these wading boots several times, my only complaint is that the soles do not hold the stainless steel hex screws that I use for studs; constantly loosing them. Not at all a deal breaker; boots are solid and comfy nonetheless. Using slip on traction aids; no problem.
