This looks like it will be a fun expansion to start diving into once the storyline from the core box set is finished. I love the ease with which you can, essentially, drive your own story narrative by adding in the various expansions for this game.

Just a ton more of everything you liked in the basic game. Improves on every level, with plenty of meaningful tactical choices to make. Great story, but you'll need to buy the 6 mythos packs to see how it ends. I played them all, solo and with friends, and they are excellent.

It's too early for me to review this product. I'm still watching videos on how to play the game. The rules are slightly less complex than those for the 1040 long form. I'm at the apprentice level and plan to start playing the core set next week. The game is well designed and clever, so I imagine I will enjoy it. Warning: You have to buy a second copy of the core set or do a lot of photocopying if you want to have more than two players. . The designers of this game are going to make millions. There already is a large corps of rabid fans of the game. Once they did template in the core set all they have to do is move the scenery around a little to get you to buy new scenarios that are issued regularly. I'm hoping to avoid bankruptcy by limiting my purchases, but I'm already off to a bad start.

It is my first Purchase on Amazon and i'm amazed with how Quick and Simple this internet retailer works. The order came in less than two weeks and the package was packed very neatly. the quality of Arkham Horror is just perfect, (not that i expected something else) US always produce and do everything better than any other country. The box is even smaller than the core box and almost useless to store your cards. You will have access to additional 5 investigators with 20 plus player cards to add to your deck building. Overall, less value for money compared to the core game as you really need to buy the mythos packs for better cards and overall experience.

Still my favorite campaign

I own several expansions for this game. This is by far my favorite. if I were new to the game and looking to buy my first expansion this would be the one. I love the setting of this one and the story. The new investigators and cards are cool too.

Amazing! What can I say.. this game has got myself and a friend totally addicted. Both our first go at any type of game like this. We have just recently completed the first three scenarios(Core set) of the game and had to continue our adventures/investigations. From scenario to scenario the game feels new, different and exciting. Aside from the 2 player game, I've recently started a solo campaign and can honestly say it's just as good as playing with a buddy.

Both scenarios start with exciting hooks to care about the characters in the spooky town of Innsmouth. The story starts in media res and you try to remember what happened in flashbacks. This creates a sense of deja vu which is interesting.
