Highly recommend!!!
The package came just as shown, and the capsules are individually wrapped which is super convenient to take them on the go. This is by far my favorite fish oil due to it’s high quality and the fact that it has absolutely no fishy aftertaste!! I’m a returning customer and I highly recommend any and all of Lysi’s products.

High quality, no aftertaste rush burps, and easy to bring on the go
I was looking for a high-grade, clean fish oil that didn’t give me those aftertaste fish burps. Found it! I’m also running out the door in the morning a lot, so I like the option of having a sleeve of capsules with me. I’m certainly trusting my omega-3 options to the Icelanders going forward!

Easy to use, clear instruction on the strength of the product
I use this product both for joint health and to improve mental capacity. I like that capsules are individually packaged and thus, stay fresher. Product effectiveness seems good over time.

Decent product ~ no fish burps ~ sort of expensive ~ contains bovine gelatin.
As far as I am aware, this product offers a pretty standard amount of EPA and DHA, the primary Omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil supplements. LYSI Omega-3 Forte Fish Oil comes in a box of 32 capsules, all in a blister pack. I don't know if that's the most environmentally friendly form of packaging, but it certainly seems to keep these softgels fresh, as they're sort of individually sealed. I have taken this product for the last several weeks in place of my regular fish oil supplement and, while my brain obviously knows I've switched, my body doesn't seem to realize it. I have felt no difference, good or bad (which is actually good!). Also, thankfully, I haven't experienced any fish burps or unpleasant side effects. LYSI is an Icelandic product, and it's quite expensive, especially as compared to so many other quality fish oil supplements out there. The current price is about $26 for only a single month's supply. However, the quality and care are there, so if you are looking for a good, burp-free fish oil supplement and don't mind paying a bit more for it, this is a very good one to try. Oh, but do note that this product uses bovine-derived gelatin, so it won't be suitable for vegans.

No burps, no flavors
My dad is Icelandic and used to have his family send bottles of Lysi with the blue labels to him in the US packed safely among bags of hardfiskur for international shipping. I can still remember the taste of the liquid Lysi and it was not pleasant to a small child, but lo and behold, there was a method to that madness and now as an adult, I need Omega supplementation. I've been taking Nordic Naturals for a year or so which I liked, but would occasionally get the lemon scented fish oil burp which flashed me back to the days of chugging a spoonful of fish oil as a kid. So far, I've gone through an entire packet of these with no fish burps whatsoever. The Omega content is comparable on a capsule-to-capsule basis (serving size for this is 1 capsule while NN serving size is 2 capsules for double the Omega content - so I take two Lysi capsules and the base omega content is about the same - the Lysi is slightly less, but not significantly) but this does have a good EPA content which I haven't seen described on many over the counter omega capsules - there was a study done on a prescription supplement that had higher concentrations of EPA and found that it was protective against cardiac and stroke events compared to another prescription supplement without higher EPA which didn't show any statistical benefit. Price wise it is comparable to the omega I was already taking. Visually, these are much more appealing, no smell from the capsule either. They're crystal clear compared to my existing Omega capsules - I took a photo to compare how cloudy my previous fish oil capsule looks compared to the Lysi, and it might be a tiny bit smaller (though they're both easy enough for me to swallow.)

Omega
I'm am an avid believer and user of supplements, but reviewing them is problematic, and my results may not be your results for these reasons: 1) I am not a laboratory scientist, I do not play one on tv, nor do I know one, so who knows what’s exactly contained in them. 2) It is difficult for consumers to see any actual difference in how you feel within a few days to a couple of weeks. Some supplements take as much as ninety days to see results. 3) Even if we do notice a difference, we all take other meds or supplements that may affect our results one way or the other. 4) We all have different physiologies, and are just different in so many ways (lifestyles etc). But we can hope for the best when we see others having positive actions going on, that are attributed to said supplements. So my personal non doctor opinion of my own results: These are a must have. I never go a day without my Omegas

Very Good!
This fish oil comes in bubble packs and you pop out one for each day. It's an easy way to keep track of what you're taking, and they are not too big, like some fish oils. Each one goes down easily. For the price, you are getting a little over a months' supply, and this is EPA and DHA approved fish oil. Fish oil is very good for your immune system, and both my husband and I have been taking it for years. This one is probably one of the best that we have tried, though, and the price is right in line with what you would expect a good fish oil to cost. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Straight Into the Trash Can
Who sells a digestible product these days that has clearly been opened? There is no way in hades that I would risk putting these into my body now. I am rating this manufacturer as low as I am because of the packaging that includes NO TAMPER RESISTANT PACKAGING. Sorry, but I could never recommend this product to anyone if they don't change their packaging and if they don't stop shipping opened boxes. Who does that?
