These worked great! Was stuck in the mud in my yard in a 2 wheel drive pickup. Tried all kinds of fixes but only made the tires dig lower into the ground. Even the front tires were sinking just from the weight of the truck. Strapped these on, slowly eased on the gas, and was on my way out of the mess in seconds. It can feel somewhat jarring as the tire slips around quickly in the mud until the aluminum claw digs in a couple of times, but once you're out of the mess, it's much smoother going on the dirt until you can stop and remove them. These will be stored in my truck for next time, or to help someone else.

it's basically a one time use item. on a good day you can probably give it a good kick and the ratchet strap will come undone but on a not so lucky day good luck trying to take it off without having to cut the strap

This is a great tool when stuck, even in soft sand, especially when the extension bar is installed. It once got me out of a very tricky situation. Slowly, slowly, each tire rotation got me a few inches further until I was able to get out of the soft sand. They are really well built and solid despite being very light. In addition, the company provides superb customer service. One of the straps got damaged and they sent me a free replacement. I highly recommend these, especially with the extension bar.

I bought a set of TruckClaws to leave in my truck just in case I get stuck. I own a vacation rental home at Taos Ski Valley and when I got stuck in my own plowed driveway I went looking for something to help and TruckClaws made the most sense. They did give me a false sense of security and I waded a little too far in a wet, sloppy, soft & deep mud hole and by the time I realized that I was not going to make it through this flooded dirt road. I sunk and was stuck. No fear, I got out my TruckClaws which in deep mud are not easy to get on which is more the cause of the mud than the Claws. They made a good effort along with my 4x4 Ford F-15o to get me unstuck but I was too deep by now and thank you for cell phones I was able to get a tow truck to come pull me out. The mud and grip of the red straps had jammed the ratchet with more mud to where it was not coming loose from around the tire so I ended up cutting the strap which is not easy as it is as strong as a seatbelt strap. I emailed TruckClaws to see if they sold replacement straps and next thing O know 2 arrived at my door. Thanks TruckClaws, it is nice to buy from a vendor who cares about his product and customers.

I like the concept of these but please be aware, they may damage your vehicle rims. It might be worth it in an emergency situation however, in my case they did not work to free my truck and the rims were damaged. My situation was very deep mud but that is why I went for the truck claws. They look really extremely heavy duty but ultimately did not help any more than the lightweight D clasp traction devices, at least those did not damage my back rims. 19 Ram 1500- 265R20 tires

Worked great to get my truck out of the mud.

Haven’t had to use these yet, but they look like they are made of decent materials. Gives me confidence off road knowing I have a set in the truck if I need them. Little pricey I think, which is why four stars not five.

Amazing product! Has gotten me unstuck twice now and totally gives me peace of mind. Very well-made product. Customer service was terrific to work with when I had questions. Bought these for my 2500 Ram with a Boss DXT "V" blade as emergency Traction. First time out plowing with them and I managed to get two wheels off the main road. I applied these as described and Yes, they worked! It took some spins and rocking but I got out. The Aluminum traction piece takes a bit of a beating to gain purchase, it worked, but they are certainly the worse for wear. I could maybe get one more save out of them and they will be beaten flat. Had these been made with a respectable steel instead of Aluminum they would have many more "saves" in them.
