Is the carrier ergonomically safe for baby's hip development?

Thank you for your question and the short answer is Yes!  Our carrier is designed with a wider base to provide more support to your child’s hips and thighs. Providing more support and having the legs spread, keeps the hip in a more stable position which helps prevent the development of hip dysplasia.

Additionally, all of our products are made with 7P compliant materials, meaning free of lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), and four different phthalates (DEHP, BBP, BBP, DIBP). They are also CA Prop 65 compliant materials.

Hello, thank you for your message.  Please be advised that while our Carrier was not designed for such a panel, we currently do not have plans to offer a Bullet Proof panel for our Tactical Baby Carrier at this time

This looks too warm for use in the tropics , is the mesh ventilation ?

Thanks for your question!  With our home base being located in the South Carolina Lowcountry, we are no stranger to heat and humidity, and took that into consideration when designing our Tactical Baby Carrier.  The carrier itself is made of 600D Polyester and features a compact, minimalistic, open design for maximum airflow and breathability.  Also, the shoulder straps for the adult and the inside portion for the child are lined with a padded air-mesh material for ultimate comfort in all conditions.  That said, I would highly recommend you give this product a try, as we are receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback!
