One edge on the one i received looks straight but when compared with a know straight edge it is off causing frets to seem off when they are not. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a bad quality knockoff, so I sent it to work with my spouse who is a metrologist (calibration engineer). He checked it for me, and sure enough it is super accurate. Woohoo!Works great. I've used it to double check new-to-me used instruments, to help with setups, and ti give measurements when selling off some old instruments.
