Bought it November 2023 at desertcart in Spain. It replaced a 6 year old Coolaroo of the same "square" size which then tore at a middle seam. But 6 years is ok. This new one now did not come with the iron triangles at the corners but instead only fabric loops. I mounted it May 24 for the summer season, took it down for Winter in October and had just remounted it a week ago. There was some wind last night but not gale force. It ripped apart right at the fabric loop. Update: I contacted Coolaroo in Australia. Turned out that this "Ready to Hang" sunsail is the cheapest quality they produce. It is not designed for permanent or even semi-permanent rigging. Meaning: If there is some wind, maybe from a thunderstorm close by, you have to go out and rescue the sail. Of course nobody writes that into the description at desertcart. On top of this, I learned that this sail here is supposed to be sold only in the US. That is why the measures are in feet and inch. For guarantee purposes desertcart gives you a link of the manufacturer Coolaroo/Gale Pacific in Australia. Since I am in Spain and the sunsail was never supposed to be sold there, I had a problem. They claimed that they could not make the US organization replace a sail in Europe. And Spain has it's own resellers like Optimus, Ymas, Coinfer who of course would not replace my torn US sail. YOu better go out and buy from these resellers directly to avoid this trap. And desertcart? You should do something about not misleading your trusty clients. It was only for the dedicated work of the absolutely fantastic European Sales Manager from Coolaroo that I was sent a replacement out of his personal stock. I give him 6 stars, 2 stars to Coolaroo for the usefulness of the product itself (who wants to rig a sail of that size and then pull it down as soon as the wind goes into a medium range) and no star to desertcart for leading customers into that trap. Review: Awesome shade sail. Permeable material so rain doesnt pool on it. Replaced the poly rope with aluminum caribeeners and coated steel cables for maximum tension to keep it from flapping in the wind. Much cheaper solution for a hot deck rather than ridged awnings or erect-a-set gazeebos that will get destroyed in high wind environments. Will be buying a few more to stagger them across the deck for a resort-style spa look. Having just one looks like a giant thong suspended in the air.
