Le personnage de r2d2 est censé évoluer de beaucoup de différentes manières et donner accès à plusieurs jeux selon la façon dont on s'en occupe mais en réalité on tourne sur 2 évolutions seulement depuis le début et 6 jeux différents. Sur ces 6 jeux, 2 seulement peuvent vaguement porter le nom de "jeux".
