DEE ZEE (8546B Tool Box

I used this with some minor modification as a trailer hitch mounter box on my Toyota Sienna. It works well and held up to an 18K mile road trip, about a quarter of which was gravel roads. The weatherstripping wasn't well installed from the factory, but I was able to reposition it. Watch the price though, this product tends to be all over the map.

I had to send this back because of the several dents and scuffs. The Manufacturer does not package these for shipping via UPS. Light weight cardboard box with no corner protections. If you order this, it will most likely arrive damaged. Be warned. Ordered 2nd box, guess what? Dented and gouged

When the tool box arrived, the shipping box had taken a beating by UPS. This resulted in a small dent in the box. It was not bad enough for me to justify returning the tool box. But it is is the reason for only 4 star rating. But I think that DeeZee could improve their shipping boxes. Otherwise, the toolbox itself is very nice. The construction is well done, and the finish is very nice. It fit perfectly into my Flair-side, short-bed truck, and was easy to install. Time will tell how well the finish stands up to the weather.

Very Light Weigh and well built. The Rack it is mounted on is L55xW22, my concern was the true sized of the box. There other dimensions on the details, but it is truely: L 46.5 in. x W 19 in. x H 17 in.

This truck box is just what I needed. It was delivered promptly nd with no dents. Installs easily. I use it in my 2002 ford f150 for construction and it doesn't leak any water. If you screw it to the bottom of the bed,then use some sort of spacer or block between the bed nd the box. Otherwise water will get in from sitting on the bed when there's water in the bed.

I'm a big guy but thought I could stand on the box. Kinda dented the top and in general box wasn't happy. Anyway a little banging put it back in shape. Little costly for something that bends if a person stands on it. Otherwise "ok".
