Review: Hold the cupboard up - I think I may got ones that are stronger than needed, these hold a cupboard hinged at the top, over a metre wide up no problem, in fact it is a bit of a pull to get it to clse. Does exactly what I needed, easy to install but could have probably got some smaller ones. My mistake, struts do exactly what they should

**Q: Can these be used with any kitchen cupboards or with specific sizes only?**
A: i used these on a over appliance cupboard where door lifts up and they worked fine.I would think these would be ok for any cupboard.

**Q: The arms are staying stiff and now my cupboard is unable to close. Any tips on how to release some gas so the suspension can work ??**
A: The 100N struts should start to yield when subjected to about 10kg force. You can test this by hand pressing on one end , the other resting on a solid surface. If that is the case then your assembly geometry, position of the ends on door and frame are probably wrong. Alternatively the wrong struts have been furnished.

**Q: Do the struts easily pop off if you want to remove them? Eg. To get the cabinet to open at a larger angle than the strut permits?**
A: Not easy but can be done, the socket must be symmetrically pried off off.
Best to prop up the flap sufficiently to fully extend the strut.
