I have long, curly, color treated hair with highlights and finding products that actually define my curls without frizz or crunch has always been a struggle. This product is everything. My curls look bouncy, defined, and hydrated not stiff or weighed down at all. I love that it works on my color-treated curls without stripping them. My highlights still look vibrant and my curls have so much more life and shape. It also helps a lot with frizz control, which is huge for me living in a humid climate. I’ve tried so many curl products over the years and this one actually delivers. It’s now a non negotiable part of my curl routine. Highly recommend for anyone with long, curly, or color-treated hair looking for definition without the crunch!

I was fully expecting to be underwhelmed by this leave-in cream, but the hold? the moisture? the lack of frizz? the light but pleasant scent? I'm sold! This Elvive leave-in worked instantly with my other products (HASK curl care shampoo and conditioner, Herbal Essences curl boosting mousse, and Not Your Mother's curl talk gel). My hair is wavy on its own but curly with the right methods and this has made my life so much easier. All I need now is a little scrunch after the shower. I will definitely be ordering this again. The only downside is I haven't seen it in stores yet, so for now, Amazon will do.

tdlr: tames frizz (yay!) straightens my wavy hair? (doesn't make sense, but nice bonus).. So I have very limp waves, had no business getting a leave-in for curly hair, but it does have a surprising effect on my hair - just not what you would expect. It's a heavy cream, a little sticky-feeling at first (though my hair does suck up the moisture quickly) so I avoided using it for awhile. But winter hit my hair hard, making it super dry and even more frizzy than usual. I decided to give this stuff a go again. I find it very interesting that it can enhance curls, because the way I use it on my waves has the opposite effect - if I lightly coat my hair and brush it out, it straightens my hair. This is actually a good thing in my opinion, because I don't use heat on my hair, but sometimes I just wish I could wear it straight, because it's not quite wavy enough to look pretty if I try and enhance the waves, it mostly just looks messy. Aside from that, it tames my ridiculous frizz, which is why I'm already buying another bottle!

This curl cream is spot on! Not too greasy, not too heavy, not too light. It gives a soft curl finish and with moderate hold. Just perfect for everyday use. I’ve repurchased it many times, it’s a staple for me.

Firstly I must say I was pleased it arrived without any leaks as I've seen quite a few people's have. Secondly, it smells absolutely amazing!! It is a cream which applies well, and while I am yet to try it on my hair while wet it seems ok on dry hair. It helps with the frizz but doesn't give as much curl as I was hoping for. My downside however is that when I brush my hair after it's dried it tangles alot and pulls out alot of my hair. Then I feel the need to wash my hair after because it feels icky. I won't bother buying it again.
