Well built and fast, Works well had no problems so far with any make of disk recommended

I’ve not tried to write B-ray discs yet, but the speed on reading a quantity of B-ray discs is certainly impressive. Worth the premium price, in my view. (Using it with an Apple Macbook Pro, therefore MacOS.)

Decent quality my only criticism is it can be awkward to turn on and off at times

Arrived before expected, was securely wrapped and performs better than expected. Worth the money, especially when compared to cheaper models.

It is just perfect. No ejection or loading button just from software. Is made with MT1959 cipset. Very happy. I am looking for this product for few years but only now I really enjoy. I hope it will work for few years.

Its expensive, it's not the latest style, but it's right for me. I've had on of the new CD drives with the horrible click to secure style & I have always disliked it as Im always worried about not loading the disc correctly & lets not even talk about removing the disc. Disappointed I had to buy a Uk power lead as this was only supplied with a 2 pin euro version. Generally very happy, not fussed about playing Blu Rays, DvD's, I just wanted a CD Rom like this. Rip's CD's to my Mac at a good speed & has been of perfect quality. And before anyone questions what I do I, rip my CD's so I can play then off my Mac & I store all of my CD's (and I have a huge collection) as I don't have the space in my room. I recommend this CD to anyone needing a quick, reliable, efficient device with a power plug (see previous note) and excellent functionality. Mid May 2025 Disc has started to fail. Miss reads discs not being read. I’ve reverted back to my old CD / Blu Ray and despite my reservations works perfectly. I can’t recommend this disc any more and have dropped the star rating.

Lecteur très efficace, je l'ai principalement acheté pour faire du rip et j'ai pu extraire cd et blu-ray, même un cd très endommagé ce qui à mon sens prouve l'efficacité de la lentille. La lecture de blu-ray et CD fonctionne nickel par contre je n'ai pas vérifié sa compatibilité concernant la possibilité de flash pour du 4k donc attention.

Lo compre para un familiar, el único detalle a destacar es que no incluye el adaptador para conectarlo a la corriente 🔌 en México, siendo un producto europeo el conector es diferente. Fuera de eso, funciona excelente para leer CD, DVD y Blu-ray sin problema alguno. Lo recomiendo ampliamente 👍🏻

Perfect! The only thing that could bother some is the size. This is a full size 5.25 drive enclosure. Mine was a Pioneer drive inside which is a huge plus. Don’t know if all are. Read and writes anything. At the fastest speeds. Good tool for a laptop were you might not use discs for a long time. When you need, just hook it up to read and write.

Amazing driver, wish I could get two more.

Great burner no errors yet like my previous Pioneer.
