This absolutely does not work on grease built back up in drains contrary to any demonstrations . anyone know of any product that really works

I just had a very bad clog in my kitchen sink used plunger just made the other side clog poured this in and waited nothing however ther was still water in there so it did help it go down slowly waited for water to drain poured more and left it overnight poured boiling water and all is clear!! This stuff has always worked for me I watched it melt the hair from my shower drain but this was the worst clog I’ve had since buying it and it worked I’m very happy!!!

Do I have to wetvac the water before using, or do this work through standing water?

The product is safe to use on sinks equipped with a garbage disposal unit; you may use it on both sides of your sink. However, I used the product and did not clear the kitchen drain. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend the product.
