I was able to go from the 4in MyFord Touch screen to the upgraded 8in Sync 2 display with navigation using this harness for all my wiring. With patience and time, you can easily get a screen conversion done using this harness. Unfortunately, my harness was defective but I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement no questions asked. Looking forward to purchasing more products from this company!

Easy to use and everything worked, except the microphone in the truck and taking phone calls. Don't know if something is pinned wrong or the convertion harness is to even blame. But happy I now have the bigger screen. Update: so its been almost year since using this harness and nothingness changed, it still retains all functions except when I get a phone call the radio turns on (not bluetooth) to answer the call and nothing I have done will fix it. I haven't tried repinning the harness yet due to not being very savvy with the layout. Maybe the manufacturer can send or post a diagram of the pin layout and point out what pin to move or switch to finally get phone calls. I have seen $30 harnesses but was skeptical because of price, you would think for the price of this one it would work right out of the box. If I wanted to pin or repin a harness I would have built it myself.

First of all, this project is not for the faint of heart, if you follow the video that 4dtech has on youtube, it will go well. Everything worked right out of the box, back-up camera, steering wheel controls, climate control, and etc. This worked great on my 2018 Ford Edge. If you don't follow 4dtech instructions for the connection behind the glove box, the harness will be too short to reach the APIM, which is my only critisisim, that part of the harness should have been 2 inches longer, but it did work. Very pleased with the outcome. I'm 82yrs young, so if I can do this, you can also.
