What is the maximum size of Micro SD card it accepts?

It really doesn't matter because you cant move apps to the SD card, and you cant move pictures, or music to the sd card from your computer easily. Do yourself a favor and find another phone.

Is the battery life good?

It's decent, when I don't do anything, it drains about 10% per day, when I stream music (with screen off) it drain about 8-10% an hour. For a whole day of moderate use of music, text, gps, and call (a roughly 4 hours of use total over the span of a day) it drained about 50% of the battery.
