Great and Inexpensive Spatula
I didn't pay shipping because I'm a prime member so I think the $6.68 is very inexpensive for this spatula. We have used this exact Rubbermaid spatula, we had two, for over 10 years and love them. We like that there is no seams, all one piece, for food or mold to collect. We lost one recently and tore one in the blender accidently. We were sick that we couldn't find them in the stores. I ordered one from Amazon because the picture shown is not exactly like our old ones. However, I was please to see when it arrived that it was exactly the same spatula. I included photos so you could see the difference. It is about 9.25" long. We use it to scrap the bowl for batter and icings. It is ideal for light creamy uses to scrap bowls or cups. The edge is flexible and scraps the bowls clean. Great price for this quality spatula. P.S. For some reason Amazon will not let me post the photos in this review. I'll try posting the photos another way.

A terrific buy and great quality.
An excellent scraper and perfect length, narrow width for bottles. Great flexibility for bowls and plates. The only problem was getting the freaking stickers off. I knew I should not have used it for spaghetti sauce, but found, after a few washes, it looks fine. All white scrapers discolor, but washes up fine. If you do any amount of serious cooking, you cannot expect your equipment to look brand new (unlike on reality cooking shows-I would love to be on the receiving end of all those "used" All-Clad pans!)

Nice Simple, Sturdy Spatula (Insanely Placed Sticky Label)
I thought some of the other reviewers were being a little over blown in hating the sticker on this little silicone scraper or spatula BUT after wrestling with mine I agree the manufacturer in China very securely GLUED a label on the handle which must be removed. I used a sharp knife and lighter fluid to get this hateful mess off and it took some time. Thoughtless and stupid way to present a product. But after all that, it does appear to be a nice, sturdy and functional kitchen tool...spatula or scraper. Write up on Amazon states it is a cold food tool for use with cookie dough, cake batter, icing, etc. Looks like it will be a nice addition to our kitchen and useful for many jobs. Very good buy...if it holds up.

Great spatula, terrible sticky label
I love this thing - I've been using it for decades. After an untimely meeting with my food processor blade, I needed to replenish my supply. It arrived promptly and is the same spatula I've loved for years. While I won't be docking my five-star rating, I am going to complain about the company that provided this item. It shipped well and on time. But they stuck an additional bar code sticker on the product. That's fine. No problem. However, the adhesive was ridiculous! It took me about ten minutes to pry the dratted sticker off the handle, and then I had to use Orange-sol 10497 De-solv-it Remover 32 oz - a lot of it! - to get all the sticky off. Amazon needs to let us rate both the product and the seller.

Yep, Rubbermaid is still the BEST!!
After the 'synthetic' brands came on the market, 'we' all thought that this may be better than what we were using, ~~ our tried and true Rubbermaid then took a 'back seat'. Well not no more. I have thrown out the synthetic ones because they deteriorate much more quicker many months in advance! Looks like I'm going to buy more Rubbermaid to have on hand no doubt! Buy this I love the handle weight, and grip and how you can get the food out more easily from small/narrow cans/jars. Just love it!!!! Oh, its nice and strong too!

GREAT QUALITY
Great quality, as headlined. Larger and longer than the slim spatulas I've had for getting inside jars. Not only for scooping out mayonnaise, but nice for frosting cake. Well-made and appears and feels as if it will last a lot longer than what you find in the so-called discount department stores. At least, I've never seen any like this. And I know I've seen Rubbermaid in the stores, but this does say "commercial products" --commercial being the key word. Which I didn't pay attention to when ordering, so was pleasantly surprised if that is what makes the difference.

NOT for high temperature use
I got this as a replacement for a silicone scraper that I use when cooking in non-stick pans. The first time I used it, though, it melted. It probably works just fine as a scraper for cold to warm, or even very warm foods, but not in a hot pan. I should have done more research first. BTW, the label was a bit of a pain to get off, and one of the scrapers was greasy-dirty as received - but both cleaned up very easily with a little Goo Gone. Don't be scared, but I'm going to talk a little science now.... I'm a materials engineer by training, so I looked into the details of the materials in this scraper (eventually). According to the Rubbermaid site, this is a two piece scraper with "Blades molded onto handles for permanent bond." and the "Seamless construction resists dirt or bacteria build up". The handle is made from polypropylene, a good choice for stiffness. The blade is made from SEBS (Styrene Ethylene Butylene Styrene - a thermoplastic copolymer), which has a pretty good range of properties for a flexible material, and ought to be very durable for low-temp applications. SEBS, though, gets progressively softer above 100 degrees C and is a moldable liquid at 170 degrees C (338 F). It can NOT work at the 500 F someone put as an answer in one of the questions. To do that, you need real silicone, which is naturally more expensive.

Good design and lightweight. ONLY FOR COLD APPLICATION. Do not use on heated surfaces or it will melt. No proper packaging and labelling on actual product inspite of being a branded product.

This icing scraper spatula is handy for many small duties, also it's made in one unit so easy to keep clean.

I'm thrilled to finally have a thin Rubbermaid spatula again. This one is just like the ones we had in the 60s. Good quality rubber, study handle and the blade is thin enough for nearly every jar possible. The blade is sharp enough to get a clean scrape and it's just flexible enough to conform to rounded ends of jars, yet very sturdy. For those who are having a hard time removing the label: slide your fingernail under the outside edge of the label on one side and gradually keep lifting slowly until you can pull it up to the top edge. From there just slowly lift the rest of the way over and off the other side. If you feel any residual glue just take the same label that you lifted off and dab the sticky side rapidly onto the residual glue area on the spatula until the glue on the label pulls the glue off the spatula. It only takes a minute and there won't be any glue on the spatula at all. Do not try to soak it off or get it wet before you take the label off using this method.

I like this but it is overpriced. I made the mistake of scraping tomato sauce and it is now stained.

It is smaller than I thought it would be otherwise would have given it 5 stars, It is quite sturdy and should do the job.
