I had never used a hydroponic system before so I didn't know what to expect with this when I received it. But right out of the box, it was easy to figure out and use and I have since grown jalapenos, green onions, cilantro, and even lavender. Transferring them to pots was equally successful and I now have a thriving garden. All in all a great product, just be sure not to forget to change the water! I'm definitely going to buy another one for spring planning next year!

Second purchase of this item. I bought my first one over a year ago from Aldi. It grew huge pepper plants that actually produced jalapeño’s indoors! I grew broccolini plants and transferred them outdoors in spring. I grew tiny Tom tomato and a variety of herbs. They all thrived through the winter. November to May. I am growing similar things again this year in 2023. It’s so easy to use. The lights stay on for 12 hours and automatically shut off whether I’m at home or on vacation. A few tips: Buy extra inserts, both sponge and plastic, Keep the water clean by changing regularly. Fertilize per instructions. Wash entire vessel thoroughly and let dry at season’s end. After plants emerge, Carefully cover sponges so algae does not grow.

Very poor growth. Only 2 of the pods grew and only about 2 inches of growth.

I had bought this thing in 2020, that was a big year for me as I ended up giving birth to my daughter and stopping most of my hobbies. 😂 I came back to my hydroponic system and filled it up for the second time this past month, I noticed it leaking so I ended up ordering a new hydroponic system. I decided, since the old one is leaking, I would take it apart. I'm currently disassembling it. I want the grow light off it, so I can use it for other plants. (I am going to 3d prints a box for all the electronics from inside the device.) My husband helps engineer parts and equipment for the military. He glanced at the circuit board I was disconnecting things from and commented on how well made it is. Even me, an untrained eye, appreciated how well put together it is. I have taken apart a handful of things I get on Amazon when they break to either fix it or repurpose the item... This one I am quite pleased with what I'm seeing... I'm assuming the leak is from a seal, it probably didn't help that I put it away in a bad environment and not very cleaned up.

My aunt is so in love with her first hydroponics system. I wish I had taken video of it assembly.

This machine was pretty good my only challenge is that AeroGarden pods don't fit in there. (I know it's not an AeroGarden but I was hoping they would) so I could not even find any pods to go in this and I am using my AeroGarden pods but since it doesn't really fit it just kind of sits on top of the holes. I got this because it was fairly cheap and I wanted to try something different but obviously I wouldn't get one again. Also there is a problem with the fact that the top lights show on the sides also so it's very annoying to look at. I taped a piece of cardboard around the lights.

I bought this product to grow some herbs and starter vegetables indoors and am very pleased with it so far. It’s easy to use, quiet and we use the light as a night light for the kitchen at night. I was impressed that we had germinated seeds in less than 2 weeks. It’s fun to watch everything grow and everyone enjoys it. Would make a great gift for kids or adults!

When Aldi no longer had the hydroponic gardens, but we wanted another to grow more seeds, we found this one, and couldn’t be happier! We especially love the warmer lights, vs the harsh white light of Aerogarden.

Benutze das Gerät für den Anbau von Kräutern in der Küche. Ich bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Pumpe ist sehr leise. Alles Zubehör wurden für den ersten Anbau wurde mitgeliefert. Den Dünger hatte ich hab ich allerdings noch nicht ausprobiert, da ich hier für meine anderen Hydrophonischen Systeme bereits anderen Dünger verwende. Preisleistung top

Awesome product. Plants grow very fast!

Nachdem die erste Lieferung nie angekommen ist, kam das zweite Gerät glücklicherweise noch rechtzeitig an, um als Geburtstagsgeschenk verschenkt zu werden. Dann folgte die nächste bittere Enttäuschung: das Gerät kam bereits benutzt an. Es fehlen alle Zusatzteile (von Schwämmchen, bis hin zur Gebrauchsanweisung) und innen war das Gerät komplett verschimmelt!

Ist eigentlich gut und "niedlich ". Habe noch andere Systeme. Da läuft "die Pumpe" alle 30 min. Nicht nur 5 min pro h. Dadurch ist die Algenbildung stärker geprägt. Aber nicht schlimm. Sehr leise, die Pumpe. Habe am Anfang ständig " gehorcht ", ob diese wirklich funktioniert. Sie funktioniert. Alles gut. Für kleines Geld in Ordnung.

An sich ein tolles Gerät. Einziger Nachteil : die Pumpe läuft nur einmal pro Stunde für ein paar Minuten. Das führt zu vermehrter algenbildung und Ablagerungen.
