Dremel EZ728-01 11-Piece EZ Lock™ Cutting Accessory Kit

This is my first experience using a Dremel, and I am already excited about all the possibilities this little tool is going to open up for my woodworking and craft projects! I have a small woodworking shop and enjoy taking pieces of offal and turning them into something unique. I wanted a tool that would let me add more detail to my projects, shape and smooth those hard-to-reach areas, and give my finished pieces a more polished look. Being completely new to a Dremel, I was a little unsure about how difficult it would be to learn, but I have found it easy to use and I'm having fun experimenting with the different accessories and learning what each one can do. That's probably what excites me the most—there are so many different attachments and accessories available that I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what I'll eventually be able to create with it. I'm looking forward to learning new techniques and seeing where my creativity takes me. I have a feeling this is going to become one of my favorite and most-used tools in the shop!

These are the absolute BEST way to make a rotary cutter for a rototool. Easy to change, MUCH more sturdy. Great for cutting in tight places or small jobs. Have a broken stud or bolt that is not seized but cannot get a hold of it? Use these to cut a slot and use a standard screw drive to remove the remnant. While they can break if abused, they are way safer than the brittle ones that come with rotary bit kits.

Very handy accessory to have with my Dremel. Very easy to attach to my Dremel and to load & unload the wheels as needed. The cutting wheels last fairly well compared to some other brands. I would order these again.

I needed a small metal cutting and this gave me the freedom needed to cut things accurately. I would recommend this product to my family members and friends alike.

I like these cut-off disks with one exception: the shaft that holds the disk is very difficult to operate. You have to hold the disk in one hand while compressing a spring loaded device on the shaft and inserting the keyed end of the shaft into the disk. Then turn the shaft 90 degrees and release the spring loaded device. After you accomplish this feat, the cut-off disk works great. Oops! After writing the first part of this, I thought about it and tried something different. After unpluging or removing the battery from the Dremel (for safety), I inserted and locked the shaft into the Dremel. Then it was much easier to hold the spring compressed and place the disk on the end of the shaft. I would still buy these again because they do work nicely after you get them put together. I just haven't got the knack of assembly down pat yet! If somebody knows an easier way please, let me know. Note: the box holding everything could be a little better designed, too.

Dremel, need we say more, you all ready know what the name represent, "QUALITY " if this is what you need, buy it.

They are pricey, but useful. Sometimes you need a cutoff wheel but don't have space for an angle grinder. This was the most specific set I could find for ez-lock discs. I don't really need the extra arbor, but never hurts to have a spare. In my experience these discs last quite well if you don't abuse them. I've cut through a half inch of hardened steel on a fraction of one disc. YMMV. One criticism: These cases are lousy. I appreciate having a case, but it could be so much better. If you want your bits secure instead of just flopping around, you basically have to keep the thin plastic parts, then you have to take them out every time to pull the two halves apart to access anything. And the whole case could be 1/4 the size and hold all of the components much better. I don't get it. Do they think this is modular? It's just annoying. DeWalt does the same thing. And the label that wraps all the way around that's impossible to peel off?? C'mon.

These cutter disks are outstanding for my dremel unlike the cheap ones you buy from the hardware store that easily break!

Awesome disc's and the EZ lock is a game changer. I brought some cheap no name brand cutting discs and I was lucky if I could cut something without them falling apart. These discs proformed brillantly and didn't break. I think I can use these for more than one cutting task. Worth it in my option plus the EZ lock makes changing cutting discs so much faster. I'm only going to look for EZ lock discs from now on.

These are some of the best cutting wheels I have ever used, even with a grinder. They just slice through 10.6 strength nuts and bolts in good time. Much easier than handling a grinder or breaking out torches.
