These lights work great! Would totally buy them again, great value for the price. No issues so far. Here’s what I’ve encountered so far by category. TANGLING: People are saying they get tangled, but I just unrolled a couple feet at a time and stringed them up as I went and that wasn’t an issue for me at all. UNBOXING: Lights are wrapped up backwards when you get them so it takes some brief planning to see where you want to put them. It comes with two stakes (I didn’t use them and set the solar panels in a window sill and works fine). Comes with TWO sets of LEDS in the box. LOOKS (WIRING): I just put them in my window, SUPER discreet solar panels (3 inches across maybe) and there’s a good 4 feet at the end of each roll that isn’t lights but is clear wiring, which is great so at night you can’t see the led lights trailing off to the window in a weird way. During the day they look like thin black wires. BRIGHTNESS: they weren’t nearly as bright as I was expecting. The pictures look brighter than in person because of the light from my window. They’re definitely more like fairy lights, and each ‘bulb’ is pretty spaced out on the string of them, so it’s sparse if you don’t bunch them up. I doubled them back across my cabinets several times and taped them underneath my cabinets and they look great, and are just bright enough to not stumble in the dark when you want a late night snack. These would also be great for aesthetic for parties just for accent or for the kitchen like I did. MODES: you just press the ‘on’ button and they turn themselves on when they sense the darkness outside, there’s no need to keep turning them on and off like some people have in these reviews (who were bothered they have to click through 7 modes to get to the plain light mode, but that is a one time thing, it keeps the same mode during the day until it comes on at night again). Plenty variety of modes. Flashing, alternating flashing, fading, etc etc. I was surprised at the number of modes.

I purchased a 2-pack of lights several months ago. Strung them out and they worked, but it was a bit of a pain to have these lights come on steady. 8 modes - all I wanted was steady on. After 6 months one stand stopped working. I have since ordered two 2 string units. Both work as advertised. Now - how long will these last - I will update this review if/when necessary. For me, these satisfy my needs. These do come with about a 4' lead from solar panel to first light. I found this to be a problem, but others may like this feature. For me, I just wrapped the excess around the pole holding the sensor, and all works out well. Finally, during the winter months with shorter periods of sunshine, and some overcast days - these lights stayed on - I assume the small battery pack holds enough juice to get by for 24 hours without sun.

I bought the 4 pack warm lights. All worked except for 1. Must give it time to work. They are bright & work extremely well.

The solar lights I had outside all year long. They always look so pretty when they come on at night I wouldn't buy anything else to decorate the outside of my house.

Works ok after one week. Some nights one set of lights don’t come on at all. They don’t last long through the night, perhaps about 3 hours of lighting. They are not super bright but for this price point I’m not disappointed.

I purchased the four-pack of fairy lights in warm white, and installed all four along the wrought-iron fence on the front of my property. To achieve this look, I divided the fence into four panels, and wove the strings along the top, with each panel getting about three full passes of a string. They were much brighter than I anticipated, which is a good thing. (However, I have a feeling these arrived pre-charged, because I installed them around 2 p.m. on a cloudy day, and it gets dark by about 5:30 in December; this video was taken around 6:30. ) When I awoke at 6 a.m. the next morning, three of the light panels were still working, even if considerably dimmer. So, if they get a full charge, the longevity is great. I will update once I see how they work given the short amount of sunlight during the winter. One thing I did not like about installation was the lack instructions regarding setting the lighting modes. There are eight to choose from, according to the box, which is the only reference. There was no instruction as to the order of the modes/number of button clicks. Since some modes look similar, it was difficult to get four different strings synced. This was a minor hassle, but still, a sentence or two could have made a big difference. UPDATE: One star deducted. After using these a few days, which were cloudy and typically short since it is winter, brightness and longevity were severely impaired. The lights were at about a third to half the brightness (compared to the fully charged from the factory) and longevity was just a few hours. Also, one string is having issues staying lighted, no matter what I do. I know the weather does affect the performance, but the product should be predictable. UPDATE 2: I attempted to contact the seller about the faulty string using the email address provided in several spots on their website store, but received "address does not exist" bouncebacks.

Got these for halloween decorating. Multiple settings were fun but we ended up having them just on steady. They are tiny and seem fragile but they were easy to work with and turned out to be very sturdy, very bright and the colors were vibrant! Perfect for decorating poles, palms, etc!

These are my favorite solar lights for outside. They are bright, and stay lit for a really long time. Pllus you get 4 and they are a really great price! I am going to buy again.
