I bought this butcher paper on a lark with the intention of using it to cook brisket on my pellet grill. Honestly, I almost didn't buy it as if that is all it is used for I would need to do 75 briskets to use all 150'. Yeah not going to happen. So in any event, the butcher paper worked out very well when used to cook the brisket. To my suprise, this butcher paper has also come in handy for things like using it as a liner for the plates when I have people over for BBQ (makes cleanup easy). Also and my favorite use, I usually put meat (butts, brisket, etc) on a cookie sheet before applying dry rub. Now I lay a nice piece of butcher paper on the counter which is considerably wider than a cookie sheet, put the meat on that, and apply rub. When all done I put the meat on the smoker, fold up the butcher paper, and throw it away. Viola! Nice and easy with much less cleanup.

This paper has gotten the job done for briskets in our house. My husband is an avid brisket smoker and he hasn’t expressed any complaints with this paper. His briskets have been getting rave reviews as always. If he’s happy and so is everyone else, I assume there’s no issue. My favorite thing about this paper? It doubles as fantastic artisan wrapping for my hand made soap. I’ve gotten tons of compliments for packaging my soap in this paper and since it’s not plastic, it still has a very natural feel, I’m using a food grade product (no chemicals), Great recyclability... it’s a great way to keep me and natural soap users happy.

Use it on my brisket and ribs and it makes my bbq so much better. I prefer this paper to foil and it also completes the look when it comes to serving your food on a metal tray.

Excellent paper for smoking meats! I'll never wrap a brisket in foil again. Only thing to make it better would be if it came in some type of container with a cutting edge.

Works great for wrapping meats that I'm BBQing. Brisket, Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, Pork Shoulder, etc. Much better than using foil. This roll will probably last me at least a couple years.

Breaths better than aluminum foil when wrapping BBQ - seems expensive, but there is plenty of paper in the roll. Recommended!

Is as I wanted no coating on either side, great for wrapping brisket as per Steven Raichlen's book "project smoke"
