Mine clicked in just right and restrict my door just shy of 90 ° as expected. I will say, the clips are very tiny, so I had to use my screwdriver to ensure they were lined up just right before opening the hinge to resecure to the casework. What I did: I did only one hinge at a time to ensure the door remained aligned. Starting with the lower hinge, I unscrewed the single center screw going into the casework, leaving the hinge attached to the door. I then closed the hinge so I could access the hole on the back where the clip is inserted. I used my screwdriver to ensure the clip was centered and pushed in as far as it would go, with the curved part of the clip overlying the bar. Opening the hinge with the clip in place seemed to secure the clip into place with a slight click. I reinstalled the hinge using the center screw hole in the casework, then tested to ensure it was still aligned correctly. Lather, rinse, repeat, for the other hinge, and enjoy the success!
