Nearly the blackest black
I love this stuff. You can add water and extend the use and use it like a nice ink or slip it on thick. It is very black and can make your art so stunning. Definitely a quality product.

DARK, in a good way
My little one loves this paint. She watches these animators on YouTube an they use it on their monster builds like catnap and those other from poppy playtime! IT really is dark! Its expensive though for sure! This was for small crafts, if you need a lot, good luck

Deep, dark, delicate black
Wonderful if you want a deep matte black. Applies smoothly with either a brush or airbrush. Extremely extremely dark, almost like a special effect. It's not a general purpose acrylic paint, though, so you need to keep that in mind when painting objects that will be handled. The finish is delicate, so you can't use it for something that gets touched, and varnishing it ruins much of the effect. But on canvas or art pieces it's wonderful. Compared to its competitors: It's darker than Stuart Semple's/Culture Hustle's Black 4.0, is less expensive, and arrives faster (days instead of months)

Great product
Excellent level of blackness, after 3 coats and taking a photo of my wood project, it looks like I cut it out of the photo! Brushed on easy enough. Only qualm is, the paint is very delicate. Definitely not for things that will be touched periodically. Washed off fingers well. Very matte appearance (to soak up all the light). Would recommend to anyone looking for the blackest black!

Blackest Black you can buy, for real. Don't use Varnish. Good coverage and value.
I reviewed this before, but I love this product so much, I just have to review it again: This is verified by both me, and Reddit (for whatever that's worth) to be the BLACKEST most darkest paint on the market. It literally looks like a black hole when dried (key word dried. When applied wet, it looks glossy, so give it time to dry and it'll be the mattest most blackest void paint you can buy). Note that I've used paint from various other sources that claim to be the "blackest" paint: Culture Hustle makes very high quality products, but their Black 3.0 and newer Black 4.0 are NOT as black as Musou Black. They are very dark, I'll admit that, but if comparing photos of Musuo Black and anything from Culture Hustle, you'll see with similar lighting conditions that Musuo Black is distinguishingly darker. There are a few things I've learned about Musuo Black just from using it that I think is worth mentioning: A little goes a long way, but multiple thin layers will result in very dark blacks base. I would do no more than 2 layers, because more after that will be redundant. More importantly, with Musuo Black, you CANNOT use a protective Varnish layer over it! You could, but the result will be your once very black color will become gray with a glossy texture over it. The impact of the black layer is now gone. IF you're looking for a black acrylic paint color that looks very dark (but not nearly as dark as Musuo Black without anything on top of it), I suggest Windsor & Newton's "Ivory Black" then use Glossy / Semi-Gloss Gamvar varnish over top. It actually brings out more blackness due to the varnish. The best method I found for protecting the Musuo Black paint is to frame it with "Museum Quality Anti UV Anti Glare" framing glass. It's expensive, but also, in what few times I've framed something that contained Musuo Black, the most non-reflective glass in the world will still take a LITTLE away from its bare pure black application. Not much, but still there. As a personal aside: I added matte medium for acrylic paint to Musuo Black to see if it could make it even less reflective, but it actually made it MORE reflective and gray in color, which was surprising. So don't follow in my footsteps. If anyone finds a good way to retain "blackness" of Musuo Black as bare when dry, but also applies a protective varnish-like coat on top, then please comment and share, because I experiment with paints and mediums (even unorthodox ones), and for this problem I'm stumped. One year in a dusty room will make it look way less matte. Regardless: Musuo Black is verified by me to be the (current) blackest black color you can buy (other than Vanta Black that we're not allowed to buy anyway). I HIGHLY suggest this item.

Looks cool but do not touch after it dries.
Great item. Too bad it easily rubs off after it dries. But I have read that is pretty common with this sort of paint. You would need to add some sort of protective layer Matte finish to keep it from rubbing off on your fingers. But I would imagine that would ruin the effect. Either way, great item. Now I know why I do not see more videos of people using this on models.

BLACK IS NOT BLACK
This paint is well known in the Astrophotography world. This paint absorbs almost 100% of reflected light. This is the NINJA paint for the Astrophotography community.

Incredible! Lightyears better than Culture Hustle
This paint is fantastic to work with. It's smoother & easier to get the desired effect. There's literally no other ultra matte black paint that works as well. Other brands like Culture Hustle not only take 6+ months to arrive, they simply aren't as durable, nor are they as matte black. Musou is as good as it gets for readily available consumer paint of this type. I've used this through an airbrush and with a paint brush. Both work flawlessly. I cannot say the same for similar products like Black 3.0 or Black 4.0. Both of which are chunky. Those stay chunky even after using bearings & a paint mixer or even serious manual stirring. In contrast, Musou black is so easy, you just grab it, shake it, and get to work. No nonsense. If you ran out, just order more, it'll show up in a couple days *every time*! If you want a reliable supply of an incredibly matte black paint, this is 100% the paint for you.
