BCW Golden Age Comic Backing Boards, 7.5 x 10.5 Inches, 24 Pt, 100 Count

I use these for folding fabric and storing it on shelves. I've ordered and used six packages already and just ordered two more! Yes, I've got A LOT of fabric, but what good fabricaholic doesn't?! ☺ I lay two boards together and wrap one or two yards of quality 100% cotton quilt shop fabric around them. If you've got inexpensive discount store fabric, you can wrap two yards around just one board. I've also easily wrapped up to five yards of quality quilt shop 100% cotton fabric around three or four of these cards. I don't tape the cards together, but rather just lay them together, wrap the fabric around them and put a rubber band around the whole thing when I'm done. Since they're so cheap, I use extra cards for additional support, but you can get by with fewer depending on the weight of the fabric. I've also wrapped 5 yards of medium weight upholstery fabric (really!) around four cards. I can't recommend these comic backing boards enough for quilters who want to get all that wonderful fabric folded neatly and organized so they can find what they need quickly.

I bought this product because I have a stack of old comic books that I need to clean up and put away safely for either protection or sale. But those I have tucked away in the deep freeze with some baking soda to try to pull out some of the musty odor. But I'm looking at my stack of fabric and the comic book boards and ideas from other reviewers it occured to me that I could store my fabric on them. And VOILA! It works. I can also use them in my crafting and journaling - although I would not use these to make a book cover - you'd need about 4 of them and still it would be quite bendy. They are not very thick or sturdy - but that is not what I bought them for. If you are looking for a stronger board - might want to look elsewhere.

I used these cards to organize my fabric for sewing and it worked perfectly. I folded my fabric in thirds and then just wrapped it around the board. If I had heavy fabric, I would just use two.

I’ve bought these boards before to put my fabrics on, now use them to make my magnets sturdier for my card dies and stamps! Works great!

These are perfect to use to ship magazine pages and look very professional. The only complaint that I have is that the front cover (thank goodness it was wrapped in plastic) had some gooey, sticky substance all over it. Otherwise, this would have received 5 stars.

These comic boards were great for wrapping my quilting cottons and garment fabrics. I secured the top and bottom after wrapping using clear alligator clips. I will try these next with fleece and other heavyweight fabrics bit I will definitely keep a supply in stock. Just buy more than you think you need and then get extra. I underestimated the size of my fabric collection!

Klasse Ware, passen einwandfrei in die dazugehörigen Hüllen. Glatte Oberfläche auf beiden Seiten. Kaum eigenfeuchtigkeit in der Pappe, da habe ich schon ganz ander und weitaus schlechtere gekauft, in der Vergangenheit gekauft.
