BEYOND PAINT - Furniture, Cabinets and More All-in-One Refinishing Paint -Quart of Bright White

I would highly recommend this product because it does it all. It saved me so much time and work when painting furniture. The paint applies really well so you don’t have to be an expert and the results are great. Nice even finish.

I’d seen many YouTube videos showing the application of Beyond Paint on furniture, cabinets and cupboards and even tile floors. I’ve got an almond-coloured, old tub surround in my shower. I followed the directions for proper application and got to work. I bought the white colour option. This is the only bathroom in my home, so I was really hoping that this product would work. I used a small brush for the corners and beveled areas, and used a small foam roller for the larger areas. I applied 2 coats, waiting 24 hours between each application. Application should be reasonably light. Watch a few YouTube videos - they were very helpful. This photo shows a before and after. You really can’t tell that the tub surround was painted - it just looks brand new. There are no brush or roller marks. This is not a high-gloss finish. We may apply a sealant down the line, but it looks beautiful without one. I highly recommend this product. Yes, it costs more, but it also saves a lot of effort in not having to sand the entire area. I’m no longer able to do a lot of physical work, so this was well worth the cost to me. There was minimal odor from the product and clean-up was just with water. If you’ve been on the fence, I say give this a try. You will most-likely love Beyond Paint too.

It has a kind of chalky finish when it dries. It applies well, it doesn't run like some brands. I just wish that I knew ahead of time that it would dry to a chalky finish to the touch.

Easy to use and a little goes a long way

Ordered a quart of their Bright White paint at the end of February and set it aside, until I was ready to use it. It took much longer to finish part of the project I had been working on than I anticipated, so I didn’t get to the paint until yesterday (slightly over a month later). When I opened the container there was a watery layer at the top and the rest of it was incredibly clumpy, dry and rubbery. I stored it properly, inside my home the entire time I’ve had it in my possession, it wasn’t exposed to heat or cold, so I know it arrived in this condition. I had read reviews that the paint was thick and took some extra mixing, so I assumed that maybe that was my issue. I dumped some out into a paint tray to try and mix it a little better, but there was no saving it…it was completely unusable and unfortunately past the return window. I reached out to Beyond Paint and told them what happened and asked for a refund, as I am not interested in using their product any longer. They ignored my request and told me they will send a replacement and that it should take 4-6 days to arrive once it’s shipped. I am furious and irritated with myself for not having checked the paint sooner, because I would have much rather returned it and found an alternative option. Now I get to wait another week or so and have the rest of my project in limbo, until I receive this replacement. Will not be ordering from this brand again. Very disappointed.
