After using the ZeroDerm shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body lotion for over 14 months now, I thought I would do a full review on this hidden gem! This review is for the ZeroDerm line product line only from Ginger Lily Farms. I purchased this from Amazon in the gallon size for each product and it’s literally lasted my partner and I over 1 year. We just refill our pump bottles with the gallon size. We repurchased the body wash but still are working on the first gallon bottle of the other products. FEATURES: Everything from this brand is cruelty free & vegan! I haven’t tried other products from this brand but opted for the ZeroDerm line because it is fragrance free and allergen free — I have super sensitive skin. It is also phthalate, sulfate, and paraben free. No artificial colors or additives. SHAMPOO: 5/5 I have long wavy 2B hair that is super thick and my partner has short fine 1A hair. We both use this shampoo and it works great on both our hair types. It’s not overly stripping and lathers great. I like that it has aloe and flaxseed because that’s great for hair in reducing frizz and making it smooth. No parabens, fragrances, and SLS which is bad for your hair too. Will continue to purchase! CONDITIONER: 5/5 My partner has pretty oily hair so he doesn’t use conditioner, the shampoo is enough for his hair to stay soft. I have longer hair and work the conditioner through the ends and let it sit for 1-2 minutes as I wash my body. I absolutely love this conditioner! It has Vitamin E, Aloe, Flaxseed, Shea Butter, and seed oils which are great for your hair. It doesn’t make your hair oily and leaves it smooth and silky. It’s one of the few conditioners that is so gentle I can even use it on my skin for shaving. I use it in place of shaving cream for shaving anywhere on my body and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin like normal shaving creams do. And no razor burn! Will continue to purchase! BODY WASH: 4.5/5 Great non-scented velvety body wash. Easily gets off dirt, grease, mud, etc and does not strip the skin. I have dry skin and my partner has oily skin and this wash works for us both because it is oil free and doesn’t strip the natural oil off your skin. The only thing I will say is that this is BODY wash, not face wash. I made the mistake of putting this on my face and got it in my eyes, and my eyes were burning— so don’t do that, it is not tear free! Super gentle on the rest of the body including intimate parts. Will continue to repurchase! BODY LOTION: 3.5/5 This lotion is pretty lightweight and works great on body, hands, and face. My partner doesn’t use lotion often but will occasionally use this in the winter and states that he likes it because doesn’t make his arm and leg hair feel weird and sticky like other body lotions do (whatever that means?) and likes that it isn’t scented. I use this lotion on my body after shaving and it is great and doesn’t irritate the skin. I’ve also used it on my face and it was fine but I prefer to use special face lotion with ceramides, so this lotion is mostly for body use. I like this lotion and think it’s great for summer use for me, but in the winter I look for something thicker because I have really dry skin. If you don’t have dry skin, this lightweight option may be enough for you. If it was slightly heavier and had ceramides, I would rate it higher Will repurchase but only a small bottle for my partner to use in winter.

I purchased this item because it is unscented and allergy friendly. It works fine even if it is a little runny. On the other hand, it does not clog the dispenser pump I use for it.

This ticked all the boxes for me. 1) its fragrance free, I dislike all the hair products with fake strong smells; 2) it is free of silicone and other nasties; 3) its economical. I purchased a pump bottle and poured some in there and put in my shower. The conditioner should last quite a while; 4) it is safe even for kids. A few minor cons: 1) its kind of a light conditioner so if your hair is really dry and you need a really thick conditioner it may or may not work but there isn't a travel size to try ; 2) its a bit runny so I used a little more conditioner than I normally do; 3) it doesn't provide a lot of slip for tangles and thick hair but it seems that is kind of common in a lot of shampoos and conditioners for itchy scalp. Had same problem with free and clear and ashamed; and lastly you need to leave it on a bit in shower to give it time to soften hair. And gently work comb thru. It washes out well and it left my hair soft and bouncy when dry. I don't have frizzy hair as I don't use heat or other appliances on my hair, I color my hair about every 2 or three months but that's it. For reference I have a combo of straight hair with loose curls and a slight wave in back . my hair is not thick kind of thin and medium length hair products can weigh it down but this condioner left it bouncy. I use Johnson's baby shampoo its super mild doesn't strip my color and we use baby shampoo on our pets too. I will try the zero term shampoo once we finish the Johnson's bottle.

Yes, it is truly fragrance free. It does an OK job at moisturizing. But it does NOTHING to detangle hair. I have left the conditioner on my hair for up to 10 minutes and still had clumps of knots in my hair. I tried brushing my hair before shampooing and while that reduced the knots, I still obviously will end up with a few just from rinsing the shampoo out. And regardless of how long I left the conditioner in, it didn't detangle a single knot. I'm pissed that I now have a gallon of useless conditioner. I gave some to a friend with shoulder length hair to ask their opinion and they agreed this stuff is worthless as a conditioner.

The first time I ordered (in Nov 2022) the conditioner was suuuper thick and nice. So when I ran out in December 23, I reordered. This round is super runny instead. Heavy cream consistency or thinner. It's really hard to get from the bottle to my head without half of it running out of my hand and down the drain. This bottle probably won't last as long for me since it takes twice as much to feel like my hair is saturated, plus losing so much down the drain. I don't know if I'll reorder, since it seems like this is a common complaint. Maybe my first bottle was just a fluke. Still giving it 4 stars because $25 for a year (or even just 6 months) of conditioner is great, it really is unscented, and it does well enough for my hair. @GingerLily, let me know if you get the consistency sorted out. The thick stuff was really luxurious and nice, and I'd happily buy another bottle of that even with a higher price. This runny stuff not so much.
