I was having symptoms of bacterial infection that wouldn't go away (somewhat mild symptoms, but I could tell something was off). When the symptoms first appeared, I treated it with a course of antibiotics and it went away. About one month later, symptoms appeared to return. Did another course of antibiotics, and again, seemed to return a month later. I didn't want to keep taking antibiotics since it kills good bacteria as well. I did some research and decided to purchase a probiotic for vaginal health. I was already taking a probiotic from a different brand for overall digestive health, but that brand did not have a women's probiotic that contained both Lactobacillus rhamnosus (GR-1) and Lactobacillus reuteri (RC-14). So I found Vitamin Bounty's product and decided to purchase. I'd say after about one week of consistently taking the probiotics, I could tell a positive difference! No more symptoms! I purchased for the first time in January of this year and I still have some pills left as I don't necessarily take them every day anymore. I'm wondering if I stop taking them, will the symptoms come back.... At any rate, it's a good product, it worked for me, and I would repurchase again.

I have tried so many things to help my many issues. One issue that really plagued me was constant heartburn/acid reflux. From the time I woke up in the morning to lying in bed at night, I had to pop antacids. For no apparent reason, I’d have flare ups all the time to the point of almost throwing up most of the time. I don’t eat spicy food or anything that could trigger. I tried the probiotic actually in hopes of helping with weight loss. Though, I haven’t seen any progress there, I have not had to take an antacid in over a month (since taking these pro/prebiotic capsules). So thankfully I came across these even if for the wrong reason. I do feel better! My gut must have been sooo messed up and acting out through acid reflux. My BM have been more often, which makes me feel less bloated. As I said, no weight loss, but I do feel better regardless. Science claims weight is lost through CO2 as we exhale, not through BM. Feeling relieved more often though is better than nothing. My skin looks a ton better...I would get quite a few little zits around my mouth and chin. I’m sure the gut must have a lot to do with this as well because since taking these, those little zits have lessened. There are days I don’t even need foundation or concealer now, which is a feat for me. There may be subtle differences as well that I haven’t noticed, but what I have mentioned are the ones that really stuck out. I have noticed that you have to stick with it. I went a weekend without them as we were out of town and I forgot them...my heartburn came back. But, two capsules a day to keep everything (zits, heartburn, etc) at nay is no problem. Overall, I’d say these are well worth it! I will continue buying as I already have them in my subscribe and save with Amazon.

I had about given up on women's pro-biotic for a case of BVD but needed a quick flare-up fix. The price was right so I hesitantly bought it. Can't count the number of other brands of pro-biotics I've bought but results alwats the same, within I hour of taking I would get an upset stomach, feel bloated, and have gas. My first pill I made sure I had an hour to spare just in case I had the same stomach reaction. No reaction and I actually felt more energy. These are large pills but the coating makes them very easy to swallow. Best outcome? My BVD cleared up in 48 hours. Not a day goes by that I don't take 2 capsules, 1 in a.m. and 1 before bed. The ingredients and added supplements are a plus! I'm on my 3rd bottle and don't ever plan to be without!

I have been on a nasty dose of antibiotics for the last two weeks. Preparing for the inevitable yeast infection after every antibiotic round, I ordered the Vitamin Bounty Probiotic and Prebiotic for Women.. I started taking the probiotics three days before the end of my antibiotics. Not only have I no signs of a Yeast issues, but my tummy is completely chilled and I am stunningly surprised!! Thank you for finally bringing such a fabulous probiotics to the forefront. I will most definitely be ordering more of this FABULOUS product!!

These probiotics I would take at night! And they would help me fall asleep! I plan to get more!

I'm not sure I've taken them long enough to know if they make a difference. But they say to take on an empty stomach & it keeps making my stomach nauseous every time... I may try just taking them with food because if they're going to keep making me sick, I can't take them. They also smell weird, but luckily they're easy to swallow, I usually struggle to take pills.

I have been looking for a great probiotic that could help with some stomach upset issues that I have developed due to chronic illnesses and chronic pain conditions. I had been on one from a popular company that I was a part of and recently ran out of the probiotics I had on hand from that company. I could no longer afford the price tag on those and I was also looking for one that had a prebiotic in it that also would help with women's health as well as digestive and immune health. Having multiple chronic illnesses and chronic pain conditions, I definitely could use help with my immune system, digestive system and women's health. I've been on these for a little over a week now and have noticed a difference in the amount and frequency of those issues. I have more energy and less acid build-up at night and this is the only thing I've added recently to my lifestyle. They are a bit large and having to take 2 capsules per serving it can be a little daunting to those who are not used to taking lots of vitamins or medications, but over all I give these 5 stars. There is a bit of an aftertaste but if you drink the recommended amount of water with each dose It subsides rather quickly. I'm very pleased with this product and will definitely be ordering again.
