Hi, yes. This thermometer can be used in family，like refrigerators, freezers, kitchens, living rooms, bedroom，and also can be used in public places, like classrooms, dining rooms, libraries and other public places

How accurate is this?

Bought three and all three show differant readings by 4/ 5 degrees. I’ve scrapped them and bought from a Cook ware supplier these are all showing same results and more confident with the reading. I wouldn’t recommend these if you require accurate readings.
