Why put fragrance into a natural soap? As someone who avoids any synthetic fragrance, these soaps would take over my house and give us all headaches.

I agree 100%. I noticed your question didn't get answered. I actually bought this soap and the smell is a lot stronger than the other natural soaps I've used so, I asked the question is the fragrance natural or synthetic, the only answers I got were trolls and opinions. It seems you are saying that "fragrance" means synthetic. In answering another question the seller says their soaps are chemical free, but I don't trust it. I won't be purchasing again.
