The inside diameter of the base of these tips is too large to make good thermal contact with the ceramic heating element on the FX-600 and the tip does not get hot enough to melt solder very well, even with the iron turned all the way up. There may be other Hakko irons that this will work with, but not the FX-600. I found another tip with a slightly larger offset tip. (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076QFBYGZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details).
