A: The background is clear, the graphics and letters are black.

**Q: What happens if I put one of this on a tom?**
A: It's not for Tom's but, if u do,  get less overtone

**Q: How big are these?**
A: Not big...but big enough for a mallet head.

**Q: Would this patch work on mesh heads (V-Drums) ?**
A: Just received and did not stick on my Roland KD10 initially. After placing it and letting it sit for 2-3 days without use, it adhered to the mesh head. Will update if it falls off after use.
