It is soft and comfortable, and I don't think it will trap sweat like a silicone band. The biggest plus, for me at least, is that is matches the dark bronze bezel and slate gray case of my Fenix 7s. Not many bands go with this color scheme, and I was very happy to find that the "pink" band has enough black and gray variegation in it to complement the watch. I took a chance, because I REALLY don't like pink, but I'm very happy with how it looks with my watch. Update - May 2025: The band is still going strong. I've had to reglue a couple of the Velcro strips back on with super glue, but they're still sticky and hold the band closed. It's a bit softer, but that's not a bad thing. I really like that it doesn't absorb much water, so I can shower with it on.
