How long till it starts taking effect?

Ashwaganda can take 2-3 weeks until you notice it starts working really well. Also the person below stating it made there sleep worse is overthinking it as it has to be something else causing that because of this: This plant has traditionally been used in Ayurveda to help with sleep, and it may work for this in two ways: by influencing sleep directly and by lowering stress, which indirectly benefits sleep (Kaushik, 2017). Is this cold water extracted without the use of chemicals. If not can someone recommend a brand that is?
