This is a great product and can be taken during intermittent fasting. Somehow it helps me to make it through the fast even longer. I've used it before and after workouts. I find it helps me to complete challenging workouts and help me recover with less fatigue and soreness. They are pricier but thorne's done their research and tested their products which makes me feel better about taking them.

Love these aminos! I found this brand listening to the MindPump guys. They actually had the founder on for an interview one episode. Hitting your protein targets can be difficult. I use these to fill the gaps when I feel a meal didn’t cut it or to help bridge the gaps if I’m in a cut phase. Definitely do not use in place of real food though!
