Great for science projects.
Teaches kids basic physics and makes for a great science project (4th grade).

It works, but not what I was looking for
It’s a little bit falsely advertised, the sand paper isnt as long as shown. But other than that it’s good. It’s not very strong, and I had a very strong suspicion about tip of the nail being magnetic, but maybe it was due to me putting a permanent magnet on it and then turning the device on. It works. But I did find a hair in it as I was opening the package, it wasn’t my hair because mine isn't straight. That isn’t the thing I’m complaining about, I just lost interest.

I couldn't make this work at all and there were no indlstructuons. A piece of junk don't waste your money.

Wasn’t what I expected. My son needed it for an experiment, but ultimately chose a different path.

Buy something else
Battery pack isn't the right size to fit the AAA batteries right and we couldn't get it to work as a result. Clamps also not very good quality.
