Not a bolt-on for Victron shunts
The product works fine but I was expecting it to be designed as a bolt-on for a Victron shunt or distributor. It wasn’t, which means that I could have used any brand.

Switch used for 48V Solar ESS Batterys Mounted them inside a metal cabinet with switch operating handle protruding through the cabinet . Easy mount, cardboard template included in package, make 2" hole in cabinet for switch collar to protrude through, drill the 4 small holes for the mounting screws. Use 4 --- 6/32 x 2" machine screws & 8 --- 6/32 nuts . switch housing for the 4 screws is internally hex molded on inside so you tighten the screws to hold switch in the cabinet, after you tighten cables on switch stud install the blank cover on back of switch & hold in place with the 4 remaining nuts. Note switch only comes with 4 wood screws, 6/32 screws are available at most hardware stores

Ich nutze den Victron Battery Switch ON/OFF 275A in meinem 48-V-System (Victron MultiPlus, LiFePO₄-Batterien) – und der Schalter macht genau das, was er soll: zuverlässig trennen und sicher abschalten. Der Schalter wirkt direkt beim Auspacken massiv, sauber verarbeitet und mechanisch präzise. Kein billiges Plastik, kein wackeliges Drehrad – typisch Victron. Die Anschlüsse sind groß genug für kräftige Kabelquerschnitte, der Drehmechanismus rastet sauber ein und vermittelt echtes Vertrauen. Was mir besonders gefällt: Sehr hoher Dauerstrom (275 A) – ideal für stärkere Inverter Satte Haptik, kein labbriges Drehen Hohe Sicherheit: klare Positionen ON/OFF ohne „Zwischenzustände“ Montage unkompliziert, auch in engen Schaltschränken Ich nutze den Schalter täglich zum sicheren Trennen bei Wartung, Firmware-Updates und Arbeiten am DC-Pfad. Keine Hitzeentwicklung, keine Kontaktprobleme, keine Abnutzung – und das bei intensiver Nutzung. Fazit: Ein absolut zuverlässiger, hochwertiger Batterieschalter – nicht der günstigste, aber jeder Euro für die Sicherheit und Robustheit ist gut investiert. Wer ein Victron-System oder ein stärkeres DC-Setup betreibt, macht hier nichts falsch.
