A: Usually , you can take the linkage assembly out by using the pliers ,if you still have any question , please kindly contact and the customer support of the seller  , we think you can contact the customer support of the seller via Amazon order page ,the customer support of the seller will give you the solution .

**Q: is this compatable with plastic tub drain set up?**
A: yes, you should not have a problem at all. Most of the drains out there for tub are plastic. All you will have to do is get the linkage set right and it should be fine.

**Q: My trip lever and drain is the older style where the linkage lifts or lowers a plunger that sits in the top of the drain. Will this replace it?**
A: I used ever thing but the bell because the new bell was to small. I replaced the new bell with the old bell. Still works like new. 😍

**Q: The brass pin is missing. How do I get just the pin?**
A: Easiest way is to take it to the hardware store and they will sell you a pin for about $1.  If there are missing parts you would have to return and they will replace with a new one.
