They seem well made and all safety latches engage and release as they should. Care should be taken though when collapsing the ladder. DO NOT have your hands or fingers anywhere near the rings when collapsing the ladder. Best tip I seen was a guy on YouTube demonstrating how to do it safely. Assuming you have fully extended the ladder you begin with the bottom section. With finger completely away from rungs, release one of the safety latches, it doesn't matter which side. The weight of the ladder will cause it to move down slightly on the side of the latch you just pressed. Then grab the bottom rung above the latch you have just released and hold it firmly while pressing the other latch. Prepare to take the weight of the ladder as it will now collapse into the bottom section. Repeat this procedure for all remaining sections. It sounds complicated but once you have a bit of practice it's very simple. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Telescopic Ladder *by R***D on 26 May 2024* Great to handle, carry and store. Careful when retracting not to put your fingers between the rungs as it closes with a bang ! Very sturdy and versatile in only extending to the length you need. Good value for money.Remember !
