I have very fine hair, but a lot of it. They are perfect for a quick ponytail, and never, ever rip my hair out which is amazing. They are smooth and never crease hair as they say in the description. I put my hair in to a bun with them also. If you tie it properly you should be fine. I love them, so convenient to use. I have them all over the house and I'm ordering more today! They should be perfect for thick hair also. I wind up walking around the house with them on my wrist which actually looks very nice. I highly recommend these to all.
