Additional Module for Netatmo Weather Station

This is a good product that performs well. I use it in our weekend house to keep an eye on things while we are not there. It is reliable and accurate. Set-up was pretty easy and straight forward.

I have been using Netatmo additional modules for almost 2 years now. Everything Netatmo just works for me and the value is the 100% reliability, great software for both a web browser and for me as an Android app (I don't have an Apple phone). I have contacted support for a problem I had on my old ISP and they quickly resolved the problem but on my new ISP with a new router I didn't have to do anything everything just magically works. The connectivity with IFTTT and SmartThings is really useful and in fact I couple this with a Belkim WeMo to control a heater in my sons bedroom to keep his bedroom in a 1 degree temperature range (saves power too)! There is nothing I can say that I don't like about Netatmo devices, maybe price may be an issue, you can find cheaper ways to do this, but the software is so important that more expensive hardware is totally worth it for me.

Excellent indoor/outdoor weather system. Two modules. Attractive and well-designed. Set-up went smoothly. Reports temperature, humidity, barometer as you would expect. Also CO2 and noise level on the indoor module. All the data goes over WiFi to the cloud. Read out on your computer or smart phone. We use this to monitor our home when away. This product space is changing rapidly, and I don't know the whole range of offerings, but for me, this is an excellent product.

This is a long awaited addition to the Netatmo system. Ever since we got a Netatmo, we wanted to be able to monitor conditions in another part of the house. We have the base station downstairs, so wanted to see how the upstairs was - in our toddler's room, in particular. After getting this, hooking it up was a snap. Just follow the atteched instructions. Once you get it linked into your system, the interface in the Netatmo app (on Apple devices, at least) updates and allows you to change between the different stations with ease. This station does everything that the base station does, with the exception of sound pollution (i.e. noise level) monitoring. I do wish it had this as well, but all in all, it is no big deal. This station used batteries and does not plug in. I wish it had the option of plugging in as well, but we'lls see how long the batteries last. The outdoor station and outdoor rain gauge are still going strong, so I expect this to last a while. If you have the Netatmo base station, this is a worthwhile addition. If you want to add the max # of stations (up to 3 more), it can get pricy though. This is an expensive weather system in general, but it has a great interface and alert system, so I high recommend it.

The device took over 30 minutes before it started showing CO2 level. After that I think it is working but not forsure. I also had trouble determining how the batteries went in. Being I'm blind, I couldn't determine how the batteries went in. I had a sighted person help me and they even had some trouble determining how the batteries went in. So for now, things are giving readings, just can't say it is updating every 5 minutes. ** Updated Feb. 2019. The station is still working. Thing to note! From time to time, it will just stop logging information. At that point, you need to unplug the base unit and plug it back in before things will start working again. Also updated the firmware from 134 to 137 on base unit and it still from time to time just stops working. Also tried putting an UPS backup on the unit so it always has power. It still locks up from time to time. Over the corse of the last year I would say it stops working about every 2 months or so. I shouldn't have to reset the unit at all. It would also be nice if they made an newer unit that would handle more indoor sensors like up to 10 of them so I could have one in each room. 3 is very small.

I like gadgets and being able to not only monitor indoor/outdoor temps but also air quality, humidity, noise levels, etc. from my Windows Phone and computer is neat. I've already picked up an extra monitoring station for the upstairs. Set-up was easy but the positioning of the outdoor unit can be a little tricky. I would have liked to have seen the outdoor unit be waterproof. Luckily I have a covered front door step and mounted it underneath that roof where the rain can't get to it. Not sure I'll pick up the rain gauge but a wind gauge would be nice to have. Plus there's the remote camera units due out later this year that will connect to the network that will be nice to have.

I love the whole Netatmo system. I have the starter kit along with two additional modules (they are all the same so this review applies to the additional indoor module as well as the set overall). I bought an old fire station that is being drastically renovated and so these modules are fantastic because I've placed them in key areas (crawl space, the garage,... etc) to make sure that no area gets below freezing during this cold winter. I love the alerts because I set several sensor alerts so I can find out if any specific area gets too humid or too cold... etc). The modules have also been great for monitoring which areas of the house are more drafty than others. Some reviewers have been skeptical about the accuracy of the CO2 concentrations or humidity but after putting all three modules adjacent to one another for several days (for a personal comparison) I found that they were all spot on to one another which was quite reassuring. I only wish that the outdoor module (not the specific item in this review) was actually water proof (it's water resistant and cannot be placed directly exposed to open sky (it's under an awning). Highly Recommended!

Have had the main module indoor/outdoor for a while and added a second indoor module to monitor my home office on a different floor. Pairing is quite simple and worked without issue. Sensitivity and accuracy seem to be spot on but I don't know that I'd rely on it to protect equipment or similar usages. For casual monitoring of comfort with simple alerts it works great and fits well with the surroundings. The one thing I would ask in the future is to be able to collect and monitor the data locally as well as the apps/web.

Langlebig, zuverlässig, sehr gute Verarbeitung. Egal ob Netatmo Wetterstation, Welcome- und Home Überwachungscamera die Dinger funktionieren zuverlässig. Die Integration in Apple Home und Home Assistant ist einfach.

Da appassionato di Meteorologia, ho acquistato la prima Netatmo quando ancora nessuno la conosceva. E ne acquistai anche i difetti di fabbrica dei primi modelli quali umidità falsata causa GAS utilizzati per la costruzione ecc ecc (infatti un paio di volte l'ho dovuta inviare in Francia in assistenza) perciò sono andato a colpo sicuro quando ho voluto acquistare un secondo modulo aggiuntivo per interno. Nella fattispecie, ho percepito la necessità di monitorare il piano rialzato della mia abitazione (poiché il modulo principale sta al primo piano) in termini di qualità dell'aria e perché no anche di temperatura ed umidità. Avendolo acquistato realmente ad occhi chiusi, ho piacevolmente constatato l'alimentazione a batterie piuttosto che ad USB (il che rende il modulo totalmente indipendente ed autonomo da prese di corrente - a differenza del modulo principale) ma ho contestualmente constatato l'assenza del sonometro e della possibilità di visionare la qualità con una "misura a richiesta" - tipica funzione presente sul modulo principale che ti consente mediante colorazione a led soffuso di percepire l'attuale stato qualitativo dell'aria con un semplice tocco della parte superiore. Fatta eccezione per queste due funzioni, tuttavia relativamente sorvolabili, il prodotto è ottimo come garantisce il marchio Netatmo. Fa il suo dovere e la distanza del segnale è abbastanza ragionevole considerato l'utilizzo domestico. Semplice da installare ed aggiungere alla vostra stazione, va semplicemente tarata bene la temperatura poiché il tipico involucro di alluminio (non a norma OMM) con uno specifico indice di calore può alterare la reale misurazione. Per tararlo al meglio vi consiglio di lasciarlo in un ambiente costante possibilmente a temperatura stabilizzata (basta una stanza ben isolata) e, una volta percepita la temperatura, svitare l'involucro e lasciarlo altrettanto tempo "nudo". Tenete d'occhio l'oscillazione della temperatura e rimettete il coperchio per la prova del nove. Se la temperatura ritorna ai valori precedenti sappiate che il dato reale è quello assimilato SENZA involucro e, pertanto, vi basterà tarare il modulo +/- di conseguenza.

Mesurer la température, l'humidité et la qualité de l'air dans la chambre à coucher. Cet appareil est très précis et se connecte très bien.
